Dream, creation idea, need help/experience in Animated Wallpapers WinCustomize Forums

Ok guys, there's a site called xrez, group of guys that have taken some pictures/video of mountains and stuff like that, that I think has some great potential for dream content. One video in particular is a time lapse of El Cap in California, I personally think it would make an awesome background. But then, I know next to nothing about video editing/conversion, but hopefully one of you that knows what you're doing will think this is a cool idea and pick it up. Video can be found here:

Widgets; what else can they do? in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

Hey guys, I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but all the widgets for DesktopX seem like they do the same thing. I mean, people are putting out new ones almost every day, but they're all clocks, calendars, and cpu monitors. It just seems to me we're just reinventing the wheel over and over here, just giving it a different skin. Now I don't have the know-how to program anything, but I'm interested to see what kinds of widgets you guys can make that run on DX. Just a though

Reply to Weather Docklet does not work in ObjectDock WinCustomize Forums

after i installed 1.9 i removed my weather docklet (which was working as before but didn't do the fly out forecast for some reason), but when i went to the add new list the option to add new weather docklet wasn't there. It's not in the dock settings docklets menu either, even though the files are all still there in the docklets folder. not sure if this is related, but i'd like to figure it out.

Bartender/Cocktail Widget? in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

hey guys, was just wondering if anyone has or knows about a bartender/cocktail widget for desktopX. i've seen one on a Mac dashboard before, and i think yahoo has one too, you just type in a drink name and it tells you how to make it. seems like a fun thing to have, so lmk if you know anything. thnx!
