Still haven't recieved the confirmation email after two hours. I don't get the wincustomize newsletter that I am supposed to either. I recently had my subscription renewed to OD and the confirmation letter came through to the same address. Does WinCust and Stardock use the same email server? Perhaps the one WinCustomize uses doesn't like Yahoo.

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I can just see Mr. Jobs turning shades of beet red and Mr. Gates snickering. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA "I just want my Apple to look like the rest of the world."

1) Double click the icon. It will bring up a window where you can pick a new pic to use. From here you can hit Home and it will take you to a place where you can change user names. 2) That is up to the WB skin you are using. You could edit it in SkinStudio. 3) Not sure how you could do this one. You might need to go to ObjectBar to do this.

I know that some of the developers are working hard on WinFX 2.0 (it is supposed to be pretty spectacular). I also know that ObjectBar should be using transpariency soon. I am not sure what is going on with the others.

I have more then one computer. What I want is a convenient way for the favorites on one computer to also be on the other. I have been using Yahoo's Companion, but it doesn't like it when I check different mail accounts on Yahoo. I have just tried Wired's, but it doesn't get along with WindowBlinds and has no way to import favorites. ><img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/mad.gif" border=0 AL

Another thing, I have kids. I have CD's. Kids scratch CD's. I would rather not spend a small fortune replaceing scratched CD's that I already paid for. I would also rather not pay for one copy on the stereo, two for the computers, one for the car. And what happens when I need to replace or reformat that computer/stereo/car? That is what the record companies are pushing for. BTW: I don't have a single MP3 on either computer. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/grim.gif" bo

Paxx, did you read the article? If so it made you a crimminal. That is part of what is wrong with this law. "Th_s _s _ncr_pt_d. B_ tr__ng t_ r__d _t U h_v_ br_k_n th_ l_w" That was encrypted. It is not very differant from the encryption that Adobe uses for PDF that got someone jailed for talking about it at a conference. By trying to read that sentance you broke the law because you were trying to figure out "Griffinme's encryption". This how stupid this law is. It is like allowing

It seems that this post here. https://www.wincustomize.com/msgboard.asp?id=40803#40823 Is a violation of the DMCA! It links to a story about how to break copy protection. At least I am in good company, Reuters, Yahoo, CNN, NewsForge and many more carried or linked to the story about how to break Sony's CD copy protection by scribbling around the outer edge with a magic marker. OH NUTS, I HAVE DONE IT AGAIN! Oh well, since I am already a crimminal I might as well link to the original story. <

http://www.fortune.com/indexw.jhtml?channel=artcol.jhtml&doc_id=207975 Here is one part I thought showed the true arrogence of Hollywood: Hollywood executives think they are getting the typical technology runaround. "We all know GM has a motor in its files that would get 60 miles a gallon," scoffs one of them. "I'm pretty sure Intel has something in its files that will solve our problems." This talk infuriates Apple's Jobs, who says his industry would also love to get this problem

The idea of ads based on thread topic sounds great. How much would Adobe and Corel pay to have a small text based ad next to every thread about "What do you use to make graphics?" How much would MS or Apple pay to be next to every thread that mentions "Windows"? Other common topics to think about: Networks Hardware (Computer) Chocolate (They could follow Felin everywhere) Coffee Icons etc. Particularly with graphics. Here you have people asking "What sh

The Run-Offs are fun. Around 20 races in three days. Each race is 20 laps. The track has to be almost completely blocked for a full course yellow. If it rains you had better have rain tires. If a race gets boring just wait a few minutes. They race everything from Neon's and Saturn's to one step above go-carts to one step below CART and Trans-AM. It is a little informal. It doesn't attract a huge crowd and the ones that do come are there to watch racing, not to party. People are free to

I went to the SCAA Run-Offs last year. We sat at the end of back straight where there is a reverse banked 120 degree turn. It is a spot with really heavy braking, lots of passing and cars off the track. Since so many cars end up off the track there they have a giant sand pit to stop the cars before they end up in the trees and crowd. During one of the races a car dropped some oil right where the heaviest braking takes place. One of the next cars into the corner flew into the sand looki
