Hardocp.com Hardware site. Very small staff with lots volunteers. Tons of traffic. They used to use UGO. When UGO failed I think they were pretty close to closing up shop. They have since gone to ads from venders and manufacturers they trust. Last I heard they were doing better that way then they had using UGO to pay most of the bills. How is The Register doing since Mike Magee left?

One of the main complaints I have been hearing about Clones has been the wooden dialog. I think Mr. Lucas might consider not using as many blue screens and virtual characters. It makes for acting that appears very forced.

From someone that has done support/helpdesk. 1) This is why most owners don't identify themselves. Usually they identify themselves to most customers/public as VP of sales. I would not be surprised if we start to see less and less of Brad. 2) Of course logons gets short shift from support. At a company the money generating products deserve more attention as do evals. 3) Mistakes happen. I have seen posts from at least 6 people either tied to this site and/or Stardock.

Is it fully compatable with IE5? I mean fully. If it isn't it doesn't stand a chance. After about the 3rd time a user has to switch browsers because a page either doesn't work right or it doesn't look right it becomes more of a pain then it is worth. My Dad went through that with Netscape. He hated M$ and tried to avoid using their software whenever possible. I was at his house and was surfing using IE. I went to a few pages he regularly went to. He was surprised how much better they looked. <br

Animated minimize, restore, delete, and program closing/opening. The window gets crumpled up into a ball and goes to the taskbar. Deleted files burn, turn to ash and disappear. Closing a program makes it disappear in a whirlwind. A transparancy button that causes the the window to be semi-transparant. Desktop items that are semi-transparant, always on top, and maybe not clickable. Like a resource monitor or a clock. It could be small, always visible and doesn't really take up
