Hardocp.com Hardware site. Very small staff with lots volunteers. Tons of traffic. They used to use UGO. When UGO failed I think they were pretty close to closing up shop. They have since gone to ads from venders and manufacturers they trust. Last I heard they were doing better that way then they had using UGO to pay most of the bills. How is The Register doing since Mike Magee left?

I know he lives in Michigan. I really appreciate our neighbors old cars as lawn decorations and the slowly decaying stick pile.
"My name is Mark, and I am an volunteer." Very good Mark. You are now ready to take the rest of the 12 steps.
Hey, get your mind out of the gutter. Some of us would like our turn wallowing in filth.
"what do you mean "wooden dialog?" I don't get it." Think of Robin Williams in "Good Morning Vietnam" as being the opposite of wooden.
One of the main complaints I have been hearing about Clones has been the wooden dialog. I think Mr. Lucas might consider not using as many blue screens and virtual characters. It makes for acting that appears very forced.
From someone that has done support/helpdesk. 1) This is why most owners don't identify themselves. Usually they identify themselves to most customers/public as VP of sales. I would not be surprised if we start to see less and less of Brad. 2) Of course logons gets short shift from support. At a company the money generating products deserve more attention as do evals. 3) Mistakes happen. I have seen posts from at least 6 people either tied to this site and/or Stardock.

To avoid that funky outline when you click the expand systray button don't use transparancy with the button in the skin.
I have a problem the poll to your left. I like having the extra features of HTML mail as long as they are not abused. 500k+ emails are not fun for a dialup user.
From the Big Guy himself. Still one of my all time favorite single episodes of any show. "OH MY GOD! They're falling like sacks of wet cement!"
Actually yes. /me spends waaayyyy to much time fiddling with SkinStudio.
Does it do the entire window or just the skin? The entire window would be ultra sharp.
You have to know the secret handshake to change the font for the clock in ObjectBar.
"I swear as God as my witness I thought turkeys could fly!"
Here is some true wierdness. I was surfing the message board earlier today. I hit back once and the skin changed. I liked the skin and left it that way. I came back later this afternoon and the site is back to the first skin.
Is it fully compatable with IE5? I mean fully. If it isn't it doesn't stand a chance. After about the 3rd time a user has to switch browsers because a page either doesn't work right or it doesn't look right it becomes more of a pain then it is worth. My Dad went through that with Netscape. He hated M$ and tried to avoid using their software whenever possible. I was at his house and was surfing using IE. I went to a few pages he regularly went to. He was surprised how much better they looked. <br
Animated minimize, restore, delete, and program closing/opening. The window gets crumpled up into a ball and goes to the taskbar. Deleted files burn, turn to ash and disappear. Closing a program makes it disappear in a whirlwind. A transparancy button that causes the the window to be semi-transparant. Desktop items that are semi-transparant, always on top, and maybe not clickable. Like a resource monitor or a clock. It could be small, always visible and doesn't really take up
Thanx T-Man!
Whip me, beat me, teach me love.
HTTP 500 - Internal server error The upload is less then 400k. Tried doing it at about 1am EST last night with the same result.
Still doing it. It gets to the end of the upload then I get a server error.
Is anybody else having issues uploading skins?
whoops Using it now.
HEY! I get to see the ratings for my skins. Super! /me really likes the wood look and hopes a WB skin based on it will be soon coming out. A cookie and a star on the forehead to the site contributers/authors.
