Weapon types ? in Strategy Sins Forums

I was wondering what the different weapon types do and if they affect certain types of units/buildings/sheilds differently. i cant really find anything on it. i know alot of the weapons have special little bits that can be upgraded like phase missles and plasma weapons but do plasma weapons hurt strike craft/capitol ships/carriers/frigates the same? what about missiles. and what determines what can and cant hit strike craft. so far i have seen Advent: Plasma Laser Be
