I gave up and read some documentation and found the "click on the lightning bolt" menu, found the "restore archive", which actually worked. At least, it went thru an install process and I was able to start up DemiGod. It sure would have been easier if instead of the lightning icon there was an actual menu like "File". And it would also be nice if when I right-clicked on DemiGod it gave me the option to restore from archive. And if "install" had actually installed.</p

Impulse won't install DemiGod in Stardock Games Stardock Forums

I heard DemiGod was on sale so I just installed Impulse and ordered DemiGod. I decided to do the "Download and Archive" option so I'd have the file for reinstalling if I ever needed to (at least, I assumed that's what it meant). That all went fine, but when the download was done I couldn't find the downloaded file and Impulse didn't seem to have any display as to where the file ended up.
