Interesting. You can well see by the picture i provided that it isn't my imagination. I have to wonder if i made a mistake in some other in-program setting that might be causing this issue for me. I think i made a change to something to do with vertical alignment to set the icons properly in the thinnest taskbar that i could. I will run through the settings and see what i can find. Thank you for testing and advising!

First, THANK YOU for that beta upgrade!!! It fixed my issues to date beautifully! As to the issue at hand - i have autohide turned on (meaning that i have not tested this issue with autohide turned off). When i hover over an item (button?) in the taskbar i have to click it immediately in certain cases. These cases are as follows: Though the normal behavior is once hovering over an icon a descriptive text will shortly show up just beneath the icon, in some cases the text appears overla

Is there means to delay the appearance of a hidden taskbar by a short period? With my Excel maximized, and with some other apps, Start11 showing up as fast as it does causes it to occlude my being able to click the window minimize and shrink (whatever the right word is...) icons in the upper right (i place my taskbars at the top of the screen) as they occupy the same area that triggers Start11. Presently my solution is a narrow taskbar with a maximum Y offset, w

Thank you! What was going wrong was that when i would create the new theme the old one completely disappeared so i was trying to open the original in a new editor thinking i would need to copy from that and paste into the other editor that had the blank theme. After staring at the editor window for a while i noticed the heading "Window" up in the tool bar, then closely studied the window which i was in and noted a very small protruding border which turned out to be the origina

Interesting. I started to believe it was all my hardware/software and that i might be causing a lot of unwarranted attention so i put CursorXP on an old laptop, though it was upgraded to W11 like the mini-tower, and i get the same results - the "Save As" does not save a file and simply clicking "Save" zeros out the original theme file (a file with the original name remains but has 0 bits/bytes). It sure shouldn't make a difference as far as i can understand, but if it does, both of th

Thank you very much for trying to help me - i kind of feel like SD has abandoned both me and CursorXP which is a shame, i've used CursorXP for over a couple decades if i recall, back when i once lived within a mile or two or them. Sorry that's no longer the case as i could have just personally visited them and asked for help. I don't know if i did anything wrong - i opened the editor by clicking "Create Cursor" at the bottom of the Cursor Themes selection window. <img src="htt

Thank you for considering my issue! I brought up the theme Turkey.CurXPTheme today and went to modify X and Y hotspots on the Text Select to 1,1 from the present coordinates of (8,19 via the CursorFX Theme Editor. Every time i try to save the theme it blows the file away (well, the file is usually there but it has 0 bytes), and if i try the "Save As" option renaming it, nothing is saved. I then tried opening up the theme in a text editor and tried searching for the pre

Searches turned up conflicting info; some posts said that trails should be placed directly in the main CursorFX folder, others stated that with CursorFX Plus there should be a subdirectory folder labeled "Trails". I have what I believe to be CursorFX Plus (I paid for it, downloaded it, installed it, the start menu icon says it is plus though when I bring it up there is nothing on its main screen - CursorFX control panel - nor in the "About" section to indicate

I presently use Cursor XP Pro. Due to the lousy Michigan economy, I have not been able to renew my subscription with Stardock. I presume I can't therefore freely upgrade to Cursor FX Pro, right or wrong? If right, would I be better off with Cursor XP Pro or the free version of Cursor FX? If it matters, I refuse to run VISTA and still use XP, though I have a free VISTA upgrade sitting on the shelf near me. Thank-you!

Don't shoot me, first post and could not find a search. What happened to WebBlinds? I used to use it, became broke and me subscrption lapsed/didn't keep up on the changes, got a few $ and got back with all the latest, and now see it is no more. Wondering if something else now handles same functionality (well, I prefer FireFox...), or if it was a copyright or related issue with the empire (MS).
