It has been interesting watching deviantART throughout the years and will be even more so hereafter.
jark
Looking forward to this competition. The others were a lot of fun!
I wrote up some initial thoughts on DAv5. Those interested can read them at http://jarkolicious.com/probes/2006/08/08/initial-dav5-thoughts/ So you spoke on the phone to Angelo eh? Wonder what kind of PR he threw in your direction.
http://daringfireball.net/ Might consider reading some of the extremely well written articles there regarding Konfab and Dashboard and Desk Accessories.
i must say that i sat and used *EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE SKINS* listed and payed absolutely *ZERO* attention to what comments people made. *I* judged and ed what I thought to be the correct choices for each category. i stand behind my ions, which might or might not necessarily reflect the winners. there was *NO* outside influence with regards to what i voted for.
wow, my comment got majorly mangled by the stardock text parser!

no software biz for deviantART. we're just helping 545 get a design, thats all.
see http://news.deviantart.com/article/12251/ for more details.
whoa. thanks for the post brad.
http://www.yellowalien.net/journal/1289949/ posted a somewhat indepth look at my first impressions of iTunes.
what exactly is this technology that you speak of? Napalm(tm) by deviantART can do much more for ya than any bandwidth compression techniques!
need applet that will perform the same functions as kkmenu. that would rock. =D
thanks for the kind words renato. it means more than you can imagine.
thanks for the news article brad. yeah, we're working out a number of outstanding issues atm.
blue and/or gray and/or both. easy on the eyes is my reasoning.
how about just releasing wb4 instead? =D
i've experienced exactly the same things as davad mentioned. the main annoyance is the weird black borders around the edges of buttons.
Nothing has been said about, or done with, WindowBlinds 3 since the release of WindowBlinds 4. I, for one, am stuck using Windows 2000 here at work and therefore am stuck with this "legacy version" of WindowBlinds that seems to have numerous problems when attempting to handle skins created specifically with WB4 in mind. Are we going to be seeing WB4 for platforms other than XP anytime soon? <img

.wba files download just fine for me in mozilla. they are even set to auto-install with wbload.exe
http://www.macsnaps.com/snaps/desktop/1048927118.jpg completely unmodified at all...and definitely not a screenshot unfortunately.
does this mean that WB4 will be available for OS's other than just XP on that day as well?
