It seems that ATI cards of that time period (800 series) don't properly support SM3, they copped out with SM2.fancy. I hope they add support for those cards because they should be powerful enough for demigod otherwise.

It's probably an issue on your end. And the computer specs probably don't make a difference, but if they do it would make the devs' job much easier and makes them much more likely to look at the bug because they have a lot, so the better documented ones would be the first to get attention. Getting it to repeat is the most important part, though. Does it seem to be random, constant or happen in specific conditions?

He has fireball, fire nova and the burny circle of doom, which more than make up for the ice rain (which incedentally has a much smaller AoE, so it's a tighter focus of the damage, and is different from the fire rain, which is better for liquifying creeps).
same issue for me too.it would have been nice is they listed minimum pc requirements to run this.im out 60 bucks
If you want to see if you can get a refund, email [email protected]. I'm pretty sure they'll give you one, seeing as it's on stardock's gamers' bill of rights. I also think they will quite possibly lower the requirements, but intel integrated is pretty terrible and hard to optimize enough for. Sins is a miracle of low spec gaming, so it's more a fluke than
Just think more strategicaly and be adaptive. When fighting rook don't try and tank him, that's just stupid. Keep max distance and kite him.
He really needs to hit with that stun to be effective. If you can dodge that, he's actually pretty mediocre.
You may never get the hammer off lmao.
Then cancel. It's much better to be able to specifically target something with an attack instead of missing if the guy moves an inch to the left and then stands there begging to be hit.

I'd much rather have item upgrade than recipies. Get a low level version of the item and progressively improve it. You don't have to study what items you need to get it, you just get the item you want and make it better over time. I study for calculus, not for computer games. There are some things that would make the game more fun, some things that would make it less fun, and some that would just make it different. I'm all for the fun bit, don't really like the less fun bit and couldn't care
I think the idol increases your normal war rank by one, so if you have rank 1 and get the idol, you go to rank 2. If your enemy captures it from you, you go back down to rank 1. So, whoever owns it gets more/better creeps. I think rank 10 is the same as rank 9 but more creeps come at once.
This. According to the guide at gamereplays.org,
At the highest rank, this difference means that you spawn four giants, and your opponent sp

It's a good item, but I honestly prefer the ones that give your attacks splash damage. They're cheap and awesome. Still, that kind of finicky balance will probably be left till beta 2.
Yeah just getting the basic item that has stats like you want(IE, faster attack with lower armor) and hitting upgrade to pay more for even more attack speed and bit more armor, but still taking just one spot, makes the most sense to me..
It would also reduce a lot of the clutter in item shops where it's just the same item only slightly higher levelled. Instead, you get all of the choices and very little of the clutter. It's definitely the best way to do things.
I wish people would at least read like the first 10 topics on a forum
And the stickies. I'm *this* close to just going through all the bug reports with "check the bug roundup first, and include a dxdiag". It's driving me nuts seeing all these duplicate bug reports.
WASD where each button (or combination, as in WA) moves the hero in a cardinal direction?
This would require mouselook or a barf bag in my opinion. It would be very hard to use and quite annoying.
If you can't stun until afterwards it gives the person a chance to do their own ice nova, or boulder.. people would have to time much better to get that boulder in right after someones stun is up(casting it a moment before it ends) which takes some skill and skill should be rewarded.
Yeah, I agree with this, it should be possible to counterstun instead of sitting there and weeping.
In the trailer, the rook is HUGE compared to the units. Here, while he is still impressive, it wouldn't hurt to make him slightly larger (say, 10%).
I love the idea of a more heroic scale where the rook's a lumbering giant. That would be excellent.
