well, we used to know, but now we don't know how to do it with the editors, so we'll have to wait for the tools and the devs' descriptions, and they changed the guts to a version you can't mod without the tools.

yeah, i noticed that too. i think it's because they'll release editors, and there's a good reson to obfuscate them. shame, i liked notepad modding :SNIFF!:
While Galaxy Forge is incredibly easy to use for the amount of control it gives you, it's not fully an end-user-friendly tool.
It's amazingly user friendly for what it is. Don't sell yourselves short. Also, how do we deal with making maps for mods? Is there a way to load the mod's files, for example?

Annatar's pretty much got the ideal solution down, and the way he proposed it shouldn't be too ridiculous to make work (still a waste of time IMO, but...) and it will look good with very few mistakes.
Hmm, im no modder, so why not put a unit cap button (low/high/higher/highest) in the game creation menu? I cant imagine the game working fine on small maps and larger maps with the same unit cap limit. <img id="ImageResize_Image_23" onload="ImageResizer.createOn(this);" src=

is the listing of your ram wrong? because $230 is more than twice a rational price for four gigs. also, even at newegg's currnet prices, the a-data ram is overpriced compared to others, such as the G.skill i recommended earlier, which has lower latency for a lower price unless you plan to overclock it, in which case mushkin's product is probably the best bet.
