Oh, right, like the one where you start out with a squadron of light frigs and a desert planet.

my old desktop has a slower P4, less ram, a 6800 gts (think it's older, but i'm not sure about ati nonclemature), so you should be covered for intense graphics, because it runs great for me on the same sized monitor.
yes, it's actually pretty easy to do if you mod the .galaxies, but i don't think you can mod in the fleet cap to support the fleets
It's a ship! I R winner! nah, just kidding. But seriously this time, I see the virgin mary in it!
click for info, then space to go there if I remember correctly.
still looks like the tec colony ship to me... :NOTSURE:
Well, i'm not much better at seeing one of these, so i'm running it through gimp, but any blurs that remove the noise kill the contours.
protev, I think. It looks to have the same vertical stipes on a rounded upper hull and protruding rectangular thingy under the clamshell thing, but i couldn't do much with gimp yet, so gimme time. Just a hint, it's a bit easier to see contours if you put it in grayscale.
does being able to run more AA than you can notice count? Unless you have a small monitor and good eyes, you most likely can.
beats the hell out of my old desktop, and I can oftentimes squeeze it into giving me AA on high without lag, so you have no problems.
aargh! I was hoping I wouldn't have to make tons of armor types. Thanks though.
It was staged, read the comments by the guy who posted it. It's a satire on the hideously strict german gaming laws, and the common portrayal of gamers that led to them.
right, wasn't thinking that way. Any ideas on how to make armor that'll take 2/3rds of the sting out of most weapons but be ignored by one special type?
That has to be some seriously diminishing returns, because I modded the cobalt's armor to 100 and it didn't make much of an effect. I then dropped it to 0, and again not much effect. Maybe there's something to stop that kind of stupidity, but come to think of it it was 3 am, so i'm not a reliable source. Next, I was wondering if anybody knew the armor formula or a way to change it for a mod, because I want to make some very special effects with the armor.
unless they have something new and valid on the exact same topic, I share the sentiment.
exactly, thanks ron. The homeworlds come with a set package of stuff for any player of that race, and you have to say what it is.
[link="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBVmfIUR1DA&NR=1"]WWW Link[/link] This is the properly translated version of what bubb posted. It was made as a satire of the German game censorship laws. Nice find. Well, I'm tainted by mass effect, so i'ts back into slavering madness for me.
It has been done. just add a new Player(name).entity with all the stuff and fix all the references, and change the home planet entries in the .galaxy file you want.
1...2...3...CRUNCH...MUNCH...MUNCH...munch...gulp. Three.
Necromancer! [quote] Driving is awesome, just don't forget the clutch like...uh...someone I know did... And you may use the handbrake in racing games, but don't in real life. I knew somebody who was taking a 90* turn when his friend cut in the handbrake. Luckily, he glanced off the tree. But keep those in mind, an
I'm so tired I remixed them up and didn't notice anything wrong in your post.
nah, they don't, but it stays there as an incentive for everybody to attack them. Anybody who kills their stuff will earn credits, so the bounty you put up stays as an incentive to attack. EDIT:damn eet, always fast and stuff
yeah, IBM has really deep pockets and an understanding of business on a big scale that AMD occasionally seems to lack. (Example: to show off Phenom, AMD flew reveiwers out to lake tahoe. to show off their Phenom killer, intel sent it with UPS. Tad less extravagant.)
small is pretty big out here, isn't it? ./yogi berra
yes, it means that he doesn't know exactly what's going on in the review, so he can't give a definitive answer, but he thinks that Kilumanjaro is closer to the truth. no, it doesn't mean he doesn't know what is going on in the game.
