Jarget, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I lost my father in January and know how deep the pain can be.

I haven't had any problems using jpeg's as wallpaper.
Nevermind.....
What is the name of the Safari clone?
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I lost my father recently. I was very grateful for the time we spent together.
Nevermind..... Digital Trucker helped me out on IRC. You need to use skinstudio to specify the wallpaper you want to use.
If I want to have a certain wallpaper load with a certain windowblind, what do I name the file (jpeg) within the skin directory? Thanks in advance.
yrag, I've never heard of the file that you linked to. Just out of curiosity....what does it do?
Again, Thank you all for the comforting words.
Again, Thank you all for your support. I do know that his suffering is over and that brings some comfort.
Thankyou all for your support.
I know that I am not a very frequent contributer to the site (although I have been around since the beginning), but wanted to share that my father passed away this morning at 1:20am from pnuemonia. He was 76 years old, sufferred from Alzheimer's, and was at the hospital to recieve radiation treatment for cancer on his nose. It was unexpected that he should go this way, however, I am sure he is in peace. I have never had to deal with grief of this magnitude in my life. Please keep my family in yo
Awesome feature! I downloaded a few nice creations from another site, followed the directions, and voila! Both came out nicely transformed into windowblinds. Thanks.
I bought and installed one of the first "car phones" when they came out - you know, before they made them so small and truly portable. Had the box phone, bag phone, and now a tiny Motorola V60i (and it's outdated already). I use it for business and pleasure and never go over the minutes in my plan (costs me 49.99/month). I don't remember what it was like to have to find a pay phone that actually worked.
It works the same with XP Home.
I can't even update to 4.2. I tried updating from Stardock Central - it downloads, asks me to restart my computer, then pops up in SD Central again asking if I want to update. Perhaps with the bugginess it is a good thing.

I installed the drive on it's side (attached to the inside of the case) and haven't had any problems with it. It's a "freebie", pulled out of an old compaq, just using it to store "junk".
Thanks a bunch!
Nothing to do with skinning.............. Can I put a second hard drive in my PC despite the lack of bays? There is room inside but not an available bay. Also, does it have to be mounted a certain way - can I put it upside down or on it's side? Thanks for the help.
I've owned several Dell's in the past few years and have no complaints. Kona - why did you contradict yourself? ToeJo - I think you'll be pleased with the Dell.
It is, in my opinion, "that good". It may not be worth the money for you. I use outlook and word both at home and place of employment and find that they work well for me. I also can use both on my PDA without much effort.
No thanks Scooby. I'm a big Outlook fan.
Scooby, This is certainly not the place to post about your "extensive list of hacked programs" loaded on your laptop. I would suggest editing your post (at a minimum).
For those that are wary of editing the registry, here is a link to a website for a product called "DetachOL". The program is free but in development. http://www.mcdev.com It's quick and painless. In my opinion, it is better than many of the com add-in's available that do the same thing. [Message Edited]
