Desktop X is generally too much for me. I have experimented with widgets out of curiosity but have sadly been dissappointed. They have problems staying where I want them to stay, problems retaining settings (how good is a mail checker widget that requires the user to put the settings in each time it loads), etc.

I don't know if this has been asked about elsewhere or not. It would be nice if when visiting a thread on the forum and returning to that same thread, that you would end up at the point in the thread where you left off. Hope this makes sense.
I've used NAV since 2002. I haven't found a better stand-alone antivirus program that fits my needs. I do stay away from the "suites" and "packages" that promise to do everything under the sun. Well, I finally did it! After being tied down by the AllTel phone company monopoly in Elyria, Ohio for the past 10 years, I started a plan to rid our household of their service. Where I live, because of the zones that AllTel has set up, almost everything is considered long distance. I have a small family with "less than average" telephone useage (in my estimation)
Today is the first day that I've had access to the beta version of Woncustomize 2005. Could someone tell me how to access user icons? Election isn't over yet. While I am not altering my lifestyle because of something that a terrorist is/has said, I certainly think it is foolish to believe there would be a truce of any type, regardless of who "wins" the election.
