All versions worked prior to this beta - the problem is that I cannot revert to the prior version because SDCentral did not properly archive the older version. I get an error when trying to go back to the prior version.

Hasn't anybody else had this problem??

Still takes forever between clicking on a page, link, etc. before there is a response.
Ah - too many lock-ups at this point. Had to uninstall it and go back to Office 2003. I'll jump in the testing next release.
Good luck with the changes. I'm looking forward to zipping through this site again.
Still very sluggish here attempting to navigate the site - clicking through the libraries, attempting to look at articles or forums. I am on a broadband connection. This problem has been fairly longstanding. Any estimate on when this will change?
I clicked on "Retry" a couple of times when I got the same message error (not listing anything that needed to be shut down). I finally gave up and clicked on "Ignore" and it finished the installation. I rebooted right after the install was finished in case there were any files that may have been "locked up" or "in-use" during installation. No problems here.
Site still seems very slow to respond here - sometimes I'll click on the forums or articles and wait and wait and wait, then finally I will just give up and browse elsewhere. The same thing with the various libraries here. Any estimate on when the site will be working at full seped again??
Does it do as well as the registry cleaner included in System Mechanic?
I believe that the re-writing may be just about rumour.
I agree that he played a great character. Rest in peace.
Awesome - I used to be a regular (and registered) user of both NextStart and Workshelf. I think I'm going to have to check it out again.
I use Vonage (have since October, 2004) and find this particular forum very helpful. You may want to give it a try - they may be able to help. Link
Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays!
Kona, Perhaps I should've said that your post contributes little to the topic. I certainly have no control over MS pricing. I am not even sure if I will purchase the One Care Live subscription in the end. I am reporting a fairly positive experience beta testing the software. Additionally, even those of us that are "tech savvy" often purchase quality software, even if there are free alternatives.
I used Norton Antivirus for several years and was quite happy. I purchased Norton Internet Security 2005 because of my positive experience with the antivirus and thoughts that the integrated firewall and antispyware would be helpful (I was running several different stand-alone products). I was quite surprised at how buggy the suite was. I finally uninstalled after trying several different configurations. Fortunately, I did not have any problems after u
Yraq, I am on the forums quite a bit, even though I rarely post. I wanted to say that I have noticed how helpful you are on the forums and wanted to thank you for being an active and positive influence here. I am going to be more active in the community here and hope to follow your good example.
Kona, The product is in beta stage and they are not currently charging for it. I do not know if they will charge for it in the future. I have been a beta tester for this product from the beginning and am pleased with the progress. The anti-spyware is supposed to be integrated at some point. The product is fairly stable at the moment and features/fixes have been added/improved as a result of the feedback from testers. "No thanks.
Yraq, Thanks - 'Refresh Libraries' in settings did the trick.
Look at my screenshot of Stardock Central. Notice the left hand pane. The icons just stopped showing here. Has anyone else experienced this? Any fixes? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Stardock Central. Thanks in advance. http://bmetelsky.wincustomize.com/photos.aspx?a=1&p=2&view=full
I have 4 people sharing this computer - all under separate accounts, and WB5 works well for each of us.
