joetheblow, don't be scared. i am not using ODNT - I have the standalone version of windowblinds. the ODNT version may uninstall without deleting the skins (i had ODNT last year and recall this never being a problem).
bmetelsky
That skin is not released yet (per information I obtained on the wb newsgroup). Keep watching!
Well, I guess I'm a tad bit impatient. I decided to uninstall just to keep things tidy. Well, This time when I uninstalled windowblinds, the uninstall program deleted all of my wb skins!! I can't remember that ever happenning before. I should have waited for a response.
Can somebody "in the know" please tell me whether I should uninstall Windowblinds 3.4? enhanced before installing the brand new 3.41? Thanks in advance.
Wonderful, Should I uninstall my current version (3.4? enhanced) before installing this one?
Someone caught this and reported it in the message board area about a week ago I think. It's nice to see a great product get some reviews that it deserves!!
You can order SP1 for XP on CD at microsoft's site.
Hi Renato, Could you add Basic Element to your list? I haven't asked for anything in a looong time!
You can always order the CD from Microsoft if you have a dial-up connection. I believe it's free but you may pay for shipping. I have SP1 installed and there were no problems with installation. I have not noticed any problems since updating (I got the update a few days prior to 9/9 when it was oficially released). Actually, Outlook Express seems to respond more quickly, as does Internet Explorer. I really haven't tinkered "under the hood" yet since I've been busy working. I just think Windows XP
I downloaded Windows XP SP1 today and installed it. It includes the IE6 updates. So far it's performing beautifully!!
When did we start posting about "leaked" beta's on this site?
mgorbach, Opinions are like -------. Your argument is not valid. You continue to look at this issue with tunnelvision. You see what you want to see. Don't stir up shit here just because you need a place to whine.
The idiot started the post 5 hours ago. Let it die.
There is a drop down box in "edit preferences" which gives you the ability to change your title. The other designations are "classes" that you can be placed in depending on a number of things. Here is a link that tells more: https://www.wincustomize.com/index.asp?Cmd=about#rank
Mike, Your site layout is fantastic! Hope to see maybe some "exclusive" skins there. If not, at least I have a place to go where I can find all of your skins in one easy to access place. Thanks for all your hard work!
I think it would be nice.
Just wondering about Stardock exclusions for WB 3.4. I use MSMoney 2002 and Norton AV 2002 and wanted them skinned. I removed the Stardock exclusions for them, assuming that the results might produce some instability, but hoping otherwise. Well, I can't say I notice any adverse effects. Have there been improvements in the code that allow WB to skin these (and other) apps. without problem? P.S. - I know that this may not be the place to ask, but wth.
What an idiot. Why don't you spend your time enjoying the site and stop with the bullshit. Sometimes the site is slow, sometimes fast, sometimes there is probably even a "server busy" message (although I have not seen it). As long as you are not paying anything for it you are losing nothing. I am paying for it as a subscriber and sometimes even have to deal with a little bit of slowness - such is life. You are spreading paranoid theories which are a waste of time.
Morphing, What kind of computer did you get? It's always fun playing with new toys!
Wonderful news!
Why is it that exiled citizens are still permitted to clog up the message board with their garbage? In the description on the exiled person it indicates that the only thing that an exiled citizen can participate in is downloading.
Looks like they removed the download link and closed the thread after commenting about rips and Neowin's policy. Neowin is usually pretty good at removing rips when identified.
All of the skins from the GUI Olympics are available here.
