I'm with Chris on this. A board with multiple sections doesn't have to be a disaster. It actually can be very helpful when trying to find something specific. I don't frequent this board much anymore because I hate wading through all posts to find something intersting (to me). Boards such as those at IB Elite or ieXbeta are awesome.

Krister, You can delete the background image and have only the icons showing if you want!
If you use windowblinds you can use object bar to emulate the XP startpanel and taskbar. It is an excellent option for those not yet running XP.
Here is the link... http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?act=ST&f=45&t=51692&hl=&s=b47711e3c68fdc99afef9f31a3186f89
BTW - The new version does appear to have shown itself at neowin.
Somehow I don't think that's what happens...

What I meant to say was you certainly know how to whine and complain. How about taking some responsibility for yourself. You like the site, fine. Stick around and make it a better place. Contribute in some kind of way. You don't like the site, great also. Leave and find a site that you can enjoy elsewhere. I apologize for the above post - it slipped out entirely.
Your such a bitch.
Kenny, They could charge a lot more for their products. I'm sure that you work hard at whatever it is that you do for a living - so should/does Stardock. The point I am trying to make to you is that you do not have to pay to download skins or pictures. You could choose to contribute positively to the site in other ways, as stated above.
You don't have to pay to download anything. You could contribute to the site in some other way. Instead of spending your energy and effort complaining about things that you don't fully understand or don't want to accept, you could be contrinuting positively by helping others on these boards or posting some of your own work. I believe that both would eventually provide you with the unlimited downloads.
Or perhaps both? Live long and prosper.
I know that I started another thread about this but I thought the need to get more specific at the top of one since there have been no replies. Treetog sometimes includes user pics in his wb skins that are nothing more than a square bitmap of the transparent pink color. I think that this is so you basically have no user pic, so that you can enjoy the art on the start menu. Problem is, when I use that as the user pic all I see is pink. Any help would be appreciated.
OK - Here is the problem. Treetog included user pics with those coordinates in several skins (logika being one)- I think for the purpose of actually having that area transparent on the start menu in xp. Mine is bright pink! Any suggestions?
Could someone provide me with the RGB coordinates for the "transparent pink" color? Thanks in advance.
You are very welcome!
run the program, hit the shift key before you move the cursor over the meter - that should leave it out instead of hiding it - then go to preferences and make the change I suggested above.
Uncheck auto-hide in preferences (located under visability).
Declan, I have not found that to be the case. Just browse through the 1946 windowblinds selections here. Then go to another site and look at what is available for the other method of changing the windows look. I have seen a few really good themes for the TGTSoft program or patch, but the vast majority, in my opinion, are inferior in style and function. I do still have the ability to use either on my computer, but find that most of the time I have a windowblinds skin loaded. I have not n
Thanks - right under my nose!
