Just tried to visit skinz.org and couldn't get there. Does anyone know if the site is down for the count?

It's actually www.xpthemes.com.
I noticed it before - never thought it was a big deal. Same database, different look.
I only have 3 words to contribute to this discussion and they are intended only to the person acting as such - what a jerk. Why don't you go play with your ME based computer and figure out your own problem with the software if you're such a "know-it-all".
These are some nice changes. I was reading the thread via IE6 and couldn't understand what you guys were talking about. Then I saw all the WC Browser icons and figured I'd fire mine up (I rarely use it). Wonderful!! </A

BTW - The update for MMD 3 is what got me to try the new version of WinAmp.
It depends on what you want. I like the options offered in version 3. I do believe it is still beta, though.
You shouldn't need to open the .wba file. If you are running windowblinds and you download the windowblind "skin" that you like (from this site) it should automatically install itself in the correct place in your directory. To see it you will need to do to display properties/appearance or display properties/skins depending on what OS you are running - it should be in the drop down box. If it does not automatically install when downloaded, you can doubleclick on the .wba file and it will. Then yo
Skinning for 3 is much more "free form" which means much more versatility. Check out some of the skins available at wwwdeskmod.com. Like I said, I probably wouldn't have downloaded WA3 myself, except for the stunning skin "MMD3".
....and I just found out it has automatic crossfading between tracks.....it just keeps getting better!
Oh my God! I used to use winamp years ago, then went through a stage of trying just about any skinnable player, always going back to winamp up to 2.0. I switched to WMP after installing Windows XP and haven't really found the need to mess around with the others. I was browsing over at another site and saw a WA 3 skin on the front page called "MMD 3" and just had to install WA 3 to check it out. It has some excellent skins (some of them at this site) and has been behaving well on my machine. I kn
I should've suggested that - it's the one I've been using for the past week!
sig101, Thanks, I'm going to check it out now.
Just remember....free trials means just that. They are made in order for you to test drive the software so that you can decide if it is something you would like to buy.
Here is a link to the one I am talking about. https://www.wincustomize.com/download.asp?SkinID=673&LibID=2
Try downloading the next iconpackage and using icons from that with your dock. John Folden did a great job on the ones that I use.
It is nice that prices have come down in the past few years overall. I bought my Dell for under $1000 and have been very happy with it. It's also a breeze to upgrade, the case just pops open with a button - no screws to mess with and everything is pretty easy to access.
SuPeRhErOCanadian, You shouldn't leave your phone number on any website, even your own. Nice job on the website, though.
I don't like spyware or adware. I regularly scan my computer with ad-aware from lavasoft just to make sure that none of that pesky stuff makes it onto my system, or if it does, that I am removing it promptly.
Why don't you honestly browse through the over 2000 skins available for windowblinds on this site. I am sure that you will find many skins to suit your taste. I can't believe that you looked at them all and couldn't find at least a dozen that fit your liking.
If you have an Object Desktop subscription you should have web blinds.
You could purchase any of the stardock products, or a subscription to the site. You would probably see that message a lot less, if at all. I have never seen that message and I've been a member since the beginning.
I agree that DevArt's board is horrible to follow, but I don't think it is because of the number of sections. I think it is just the technology they use in their board. The one at www.ibelite.com is much better and fairly easy to follow. We wouldn't necessarily need all those sections, but it might be nice to have people check it out and see how it feels.
