No, there is also some other rune stuff scattered about. The teaser trailer has rune wrods for example. I translated them by reverse engineering Condarf's translations. Turns out they just say things related to the main english title that appears.

Off topic is across all forums... But judging from your post, you are talking about SoaSE in particular since GalCiv2 already has this option. I would not be to suprised if this feature does appear in Sins, since the next mini x-pac after Entrenchment will be about diplomacy and the peaceful side of the game.

I have heard EA has had some layoffs... Perhaps they realized their old business model isn't working. *sound of the entire world laughing in the background at the idea of EA changing their ways* Ah well, we can always hope. Shadow, here is another option: They are making Sims 3 easy to pirate, but the xpacs for it will be chock full of DRM to try to force all the people who have Sims 3 and want the xpacs into buying them in an attempt to make even more money.

Actually, I have pulled that off sometimes... It is all about making the enemy army flee before they get a chance to charge in and muck things up. Some nice far range artillery is good for that. Also, I think it takes tech into account way to much. The Austrian's full armies I could easily crush with autoresolve while the British armies would take 2 of my armies for a gaurenteed victory. In other news, ever since the latest patch my game has been crashing a bunch. Also noticed a glitc

Of the 5 or so "mature" rated games I have, there is really nothing any more mature about them than any of my other games. Most of them get rated "mature" due to having "dirty" language, "drug use," as well as blood and gore. As far as language goes, I challenge you to walk around a high school. I can gaurentee yo

OnLive = epic fail unless it comes with free fiber optic cables to attach directly to their servers. The worst part would be when your internet is down (as ours frequently is, and we don't have the cheap stuff) you won't be able to play any of the games you bought.

Or better yet, be a game dev! All the perks of getting to play with high tech weaponry without the downsides (such as being blown up by said weaponry).

What I did when building my computer was start with a list of parts in PC Gamer magazine's "Hard Stuff" section. They have lists of parts for low, medium, and high end systems. Those can give you a fairly decent starting point from which to improvise based on budget. If nothing else it helps you get a foothold into how good different parts are. And before you buy anything, make sure everything is compatible. Nothing will ruin your fun faster than finding out after the fact that you don't have

As far as the Empire Total War engine goes, I would say it is the same base engine that was used for previous total war games, it just has a few more features and updated graphics. Of the coding from the previous total war game, I would guess around 50-75% of the coding remained unchanged. What I think more companies need to do for their strategy games is adopt the zoom scalability so wonderfully captured in SoaSE and GalCiv 2. In total war, you can only see part of your empire at a t

Ya, I haven't experienced any (noticable) bugs so far in my Russian campaign, currently about 50 turns in. Just avoid forts at all cost. The AI will make you want to murder it if you try to tell them to do things near forts walls. I think the biggest thing is finding the starting nation that works for you. I couldn't stand the British or French as well as certain aspects of the Marathas (slow fence crossing GRRRRR), but Russia really seems to be fun for me. I also have heard about random cras

I found the nation which works best for me! Russia! No annoying overseas colonies to deal with. Fast expansion is possible. And a large starting area (unlike the Marathas). And most importantly of all THEY DON'T USE CAMALS OR ELEPHANTS! Those thing just take way to long to cross fences... I also discovered the true usefulness of canister shot. I was in a town defending against enemies coming at me. 2 units of horsemen charged at me down an alley, so I flanked down
Ah, this is a good point. I should have refered to this. Scientists have been rapidly working around the necessity of using embyronic stem cells. I think some wicked smart Japanese scientist almost hit the nail on the head last time I checked, generations ahead of his time. But these methods are not as good, and even more recently, Obama signed a bill allowing the use of IVF embryonic stem cell lines for research.
first
