EA = zombie, your computer = brains. Once they get in there, your pretty much screwed.
Uh... tactical combat has been part of Elemental since production began (or at least since before it was announced).
Here is one from the comments section of this article talking about Discovery's bat stowaway: "It never bodes well when Systems Engineering and Integration performs a debris analysis on you..." That has got to be the funniest comment I have seen all week.
"1:In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2:And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3:And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4: And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5: And God called the light Day, and the darkess he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. 6: And God said let there be a

Ah. I only played once, woodsball. Used all rented crap. So the 'mask' was pretty much a full helmet not to far off from Halo's helmet. :P As far as glasses, I can't stand having anything in my eye let alone purposely putting something in it. And besides, they are very slightly reflective so I can make sure no ninjas are sneaking up behind me without turning my head. [e digicons]:ninja:[/e]
Paintball is fun... Just don't make the mistake of making one person on each team a 'medic,' in which they can get people in again who got shot. I got pinned in a small bunker with the medic, got shot at least 20 times before I just gave up. On another note, paintball is hard to play for those of us with glasses. The glasses will fog up almost immediately in the paint ball helmets and you won't be able to see anything. Oh, and remember to always wear a neck gaurd and a cup if your a g
There aren’t cities where you get to crank out armies of Unicorns and dragons or goblins. There are dragons and trolls and other such creatures in the game. But they are rare, special and have to be recruited. Your units start out as peasants. And you can train them (which gives them more HP) and you can arm them (which gives them more attack) and you can give them armor (which increase their defense).
Aw...
the bible says that god is perfect, we are not.
It also says there is a big layer of water above the atmosphere. And that the reason we speak different langauges is because some people decided to build tall building. Tall meaning as tall as one can get with 'mud bricks,' since they will collapse under their own weight fairly quickly; a new york city skyscraper would be taller. Oops! I guess god failed on that
I don't think I will be playing much more ETW until they patch the AI on units. Tactical battles, especially seiges, are just silly. Any movement or attack order involving going anywhere near a wall, fence, or other building, especially when it involves moving over/through something makes the AI go nuts. For example, in one seige I was playing, I told my soldiers to attack enemies on the other side of a wall which had been breached. Rather than going through the breach and firing like I had e
The biggest problem I have encountered in ETW is the AI of soldiers in tactical battles. I had one battle where I marched my army into their blasted apart fort, expecting heavy resistance from the occupants (about 4 groups of units), only to find the enemy not fighting back. Not just not firing, but totally not acknowledging my troops presence. I marched my units within about 4 feet of theirs and they still just stood there. They even had their backs turned. It was more of a firing squad than
They are probably special homing cannonballs then! Or magnetized so the gunpowder attracts them like in Indiana Jones!
The only reason they hate it is it has a tendancy to change more rapidly and a previous version of a page is not easily accessable. Which means you could be plagarizing for all they know. As far as accuracy, a study done by Nature 4 years ago came to the conclusion it was really no less accurate than Encyclopedia Britanica. Oh, and happy Pi Day! 3.14159265358979323846264338
If all else fails, wikipedia it! According to the wiki article on rapiers, they were meant for 'civilian self defense and dueling.' They were known in Spain as a 'dress sword.' So they were essentially the equivalent of a child's BB gun. They were meant for show rather than use, and while they could be used, they were really not effective as an instrument of death. They only had to be light and fast, since they were meant to be a person's only defense in both civilian use and in a duel. On th

I think society and technology will radically change in the future so science fiction beyond the next 30 or so years is completely speculative.<b

That is a problem in ships of the era... wood + flamable materials for coating the wood + room full of gunpowder = mild fire hazard. Oh, and Phalnax, of course he has an account to play online with!
