Hm...a special "multiplayer medal" or similar item of recognition would be perfect!

I wouldn't know, best to ask one of the developers on the Frictional Games forum...I only play Penumbra, I don't mod it. lol.
haha, this story is just one of those cheesy movie-scripts where where radiation mutates things into monsters. I'm just making it take a long time effects I'm not too familiar with radio waves, but I don't believe there is one part of the brain that controls "genetics"...now, maybe certain chemicals are released to impact growth of the organism, behavior, basic things like that, but from my understanding radiation can impact the growth of certain genes
Haha, it's Windexglow, I see. This is TheCollective15 from the Frictional Games forum. Interesting, being that I was 15 only about...25 hours ago, lol. In a generic 1990s-modern day office there would be sharpies, markers/dry-erase boards (ranging from four sq.ft. to massive wall-mounted sets), sticky/post-it notes, tape, pens/pencils, highlighters, hole punchers (either bar-shaped or ergonomically-designed, with a protruding handle on the top), plenty of computers (with LCD monitors, l
TheGreatEmperor finally realizes that procrastination gets in the way of world domination...well, at least you are now cured of taint...or are you?
This is madness!
Your ignorant ways shall soon be extinguished, TheGreatEmperor. There will be better RPGs than Oblivion; Fallout 3 sounds like one of them (there was a player statistic for # of corpses eaten...if that isn't cool, I don't know what is ). However, we will have to wait and see for this new title...if it's sci-fi in nature, it's worth investigating.
Yeah, there was one called Foundation And Friends...the title makes me laugh, but I haven't read it yet.
Isn't it weird how Asimov managed to actually connect his Robot/Empire/Foundation trilogies together? I still think that's amazing, although they could have been sealed more smoothly...too bad he only goes into 600 years of the Foundation's ascent, instead of going the whole 1000...sad that he died, good man.
Hehe. I haven't read the whole thing yet, but the genetic engineering/assembly lines are quite interesting. 1984 is a cool dystopian world, but it doesn't result in much that is good for humanity...obviously.
As far as I know, there is a co-op multiplayer, where the game becomes slightly more complex with time, but I have no clue how it works... Everyone, feel free to post any articles related to this new game. We're kinda short right now. The closest thing to a screenshot right now would be the title bar, at this page: http://www.gaspowered.com/ He looks kinda like a robot-cop of som
Um, as far as I know, Chris Taylor has nothing to do with Spore, it's the man behind the Sims who is running part of the show.
This seems to be interesting...GPG, the developer of Supreme Commander, announced a new game called Space Siege, a "spiritual successor" of sorts to their Dungeon Siege title. Essentially, you are a human on board a colony ship escaping from a ruined Earth, and have to fight away some sort of alien infestation growing on your ship. You can augment yourself with various cybernetic enhancements, and go hardcore, isolating your fellow humans, you can stay "pure" and have a more difficult time fight
Hm...1984 is probably one of the greater dystopian sci-fi novels, in my opinion. I've read it twice in the past year, loved it both times, and read through the appendix concerning Newspeak, which is meant to dumb down the populace through limited vocabulary (like eliminating descriptive words such as malicious and benevolent, and replacing them with doubleplusungood and plusgood). However, the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov is held dearest to my heart. <img src="http://images.stardoc
Haha, socialism is evil, in some ways, but it attempts to do good. Bringing up the downtrodden is quite possible, but not without taking away majority of wealth in the majority of the population. I want a Brave New World! But sadly, I shall long be dead before that ever comes...but a pyramid city would be pretty cool.
Haha. Mine is E. M. Toohey, if you want to contact me...oh, and version 1.40/Highway Tampa are available for download, but they are in their beta stages...once the official download comes, I shall be ready.
I used to be a big fan of 2142, but got tired of it just a little while ago. I bought the Northern Strike expansion when it came out in April, and so far have about a total of 300 hours logged on, and I'm in the top 10,000 players. I need a new map/update to draw me back into this game...I've heard a vehicle-intensive map called Highway Tampa is coming out soon, along with the 1.40 patch, so we'l
Yeah, the scale rocks...but how often do you even have 12 nuclear silos in one multiplayer game? Lots of cool things you can do in the game aren't practical unless you have sandbox mode, and the map editor to spawn enemy units... Think of it like Lord Of The Rings...you can have two large armies fight each other in the plains outside your base, and just when the 'goodies' are winning, the Mumakil...*cough*Monkeylords...come in and storm through your guys, stepping on them in the process
Well, I've had a few evil types before. Aspiring evil CEO/capitalist, then a year later, after reading the Manifesto, I transitioned to communism. Now it's an astonishingly spooky blend of the two, but even more evil! I shan't go into more detail... *bides time*
Yeah, I have a fear of messing up my special machines. Best of luck on this endeavor of yours; be gentle with the parts, please! (Don't hurt the pretties...)
But, we are forgetting one little detail. ...SupCom > Dawn Of War > Company Of Heroes > SupCom > Dawn Of War... Ahahaha! The infinite loop rages! Wow, I'm getting so off topic...
Well, Company Of Heroes has awesome graphics, that is quite true...the gameplay is entertaining, to say the least, but it is not truly revolutionary in the RTS market, I believe. It took what a lot of games already had, put in stunning visuals, and perfected the tried-and-true RTS formula. I am expecting lots of negative comments after me saying that.
lol. I'm having trouble adapting to Company Of Heroes right now, being I'm so used to the strategic zoom feature...
Well, in that case, have the company build it. I'd say you should only build it yourself if you have experience putting computers together...and I don't think you should start assembling one that costs well over 1000 USD as your very first project...
It is a fan-made map called World Domination (version 2.0). He probably used the unofficial map editor to carefully place the silos down for no cost, and later built the missiles one-by-one, or just used some other modification. Either way, it is a pretty awesome result.
