Are we finally going to find out what the Vasari are running from?

Thank You Blair. I'll do that. For those of us who like our custom maps, may I suggest moving them to another directory (folder) for now so that you'll still have them later if this is changed. Is this permanent?
Oh yeah... operating system and such. Vista Home Premium Processor: 2 GHz 2940 MB Ram (not sure exactly what that would be in GB
I downloaded the recent update through impulse, and now my game won't run. Here is the error I get after the game begins loading(bold & underlined text is the title of the window that gave me the information): Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program: C:\Program Files\Stard... This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please cotan
Nope none on either. Just the base game. One time I saw this error was when I tryed to play a custom map with a friend and he didn't have a copy of that map.
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. Has anyone else ran into this error? It came up for me when I downloaded the game, to play multiplayer, onto my friend's computer (per the user agreement which states that you can make one additionally copy to play a networked multiplayer game) and when either of us tried to join the other's game we got the above message: "You don't have the files needed for this game." we have the same version i

First off, freakin' AWESOME GAME and I love playing it. Here's what happened: Saturday a friend of mine began playing a game on the Doppelgangers map, we were in a locked team versus the two computer players in a locked team. After we had taken out the first computer player, we were jumping over to the last star to take out the other computer player and I was able to jump just fine, but my friend's ships had severe difficulty jumping to the next star. Thanks for your Help I just hadn't been able to find it here after an hour of looking "manually."
That's the thing. I'd like to know what's in it BEFORE I download it. I just want to be prepared.
I would just like to know what's in the v1.5 update for SoaSE. What is improved? What is added? What is out? I ask because the last time I updated a game (Actually GalCivII) It changed the way the game played so dramatically that I had to change my strategy, ALOT. (I updated from Beta 1.0 to the most recent update in one swoop.) Sincerely, JarLo Anlon
The first game I played I was heavy on defense (1 or 2 laser attack with a 3 or 4 sheild defense) and that worked great. I would group small fleets of 3 Tiny and 1 small (later medium when I got it) and together they'd work great... the enemy tended to go for the smaller ships while the bigger ship and it's tiny buddies took out the enemy fleet trying to get through my sheilds on one tiny fighter. Since then I haven't had as much success. So go fig'...
