Make sure you have a different blind applied and close Windowblinds. Open the skin folder for Ammonite and delete any file that has that ~ AND any file that say wb4 on it. Open Windowblinds and choose Ammonite again... go to the styles tab, click on one style and then the other one and back again. Both previews should be there and should stay showing even when you close Windowblinds and reopen it. Edit: you will be deleting 37 files in all.

It looks like your search area is overlapping the top of the start menu. What controls the boundaries of that area are the text margins on Search Mode Top part. Try increasing the top text margin on that and it should shove that area down off the top part of the panel. <
