sure you can! you have to put the .bik files in the movies folder and then put their names in the raceconfig.xml ("[Your Race Name]_Happy" etc.) the small ones are for the UP screen. -Dave

like i said, you can change the name by replacing all of the references to "united planets" and "UP" in the .str files. -Dave

umm... you can make new issues by editing the UPissues.xml and i guess you can technically change the name of the UP by changing the name in all references, especially those found in the .str files. -Dave

i'm not entirely sure, as i've never attempted this before, but if you look at the "Sol" star system (for the terrans), before the first 'planet' string, there's a display name string and a texture string, so maybe if you add those 2 strings (and include the values you want), then you can both name the starand decide which kind of star it is. i think it'll work ;) -Dave
