It's just so hard to be blunt about difficult subjects! More seriously, I really am holding back, deleted most of this post too... I'm fucking pissed.

Did you try the control group entries on the left hand side of the screen? Once you assign a group a number, it gets added to the interface up there and you can click on the units listed in the same way.
I don't know what you see him doing, but you can simply move them into the existing group. Clicking on a unit, instead of the ground, gives you a blue indicator instead of green, and they join up. Which is what the AI is actually doing when he talks about how they can make control groups with one unit and order reinforcements.
That's a pretty good fit for the topic, really... AGW and "a woman's right to choose" are equally absurd arguments by absolutists justifying violations of basic human rights on the premise that we're actually protecting them. It's done an equally effective snow job, as evidenced by the morally repugnant comparison above. The systematic enslavement of women in a culture that treats them worse than they do animals, gets put on an equal footing
This is AI efficiency misleading you. It's not actually queuing frigates from a frigate army, nor is it making a control group of one frigate. It's way pointing the new unit to the first one built, which automatically forms a control group just like it will for you. When you move units into a group, you get a blue indicator, same as when you send them to take a node, etc.
Bankers are actually not a bad class of people. The problem is that many societies have basically regulated small community banks out of commission. Almost everyone banks at a publicly traded chain, both of those facets are a pretty major negative to fair play from a company unless who ever's at the top of the food chain just happens to be a really nice guy for a cut throat corporate shill.
Oh please, my asshole is smart enough to replace a politician...
I don't know what to say dude, it's practically a free win. I built a few flack turrets, popped a few cruiser factories out behind their base, and rolled over them without any trouble at all. Never saw a dreadnought.
This thread is really strange...
How many counter arguments does it take to get Jafo to drop the F-Bomb?
Less if he's arguing with me. :) It's not hijacking because you chose to install the browser that hijacks the webpages. It is however exactly the same in functionality as hijackers. There are way more URL's in a page these days than the one listed on
Performance wise, you're already seeing degradation in the efficiency of your processor by the time it hits 50% utilization. At that point, it's like having a saturated connection and things slow way down on getting through the queue. Upgrading would get you a lower power utilization and and smoother and more speedy execution even if there aren't any game play factors. I highly doubt there are, getting smarter with more resources available is a pretty high end fe
Did you build back behind their base? You get to drop engineers behind enemy lines and set up cruiser factories that bypass that epic choke point filled with defenses and attack a virtually undefended nexus. The only thing you need to do is survive a few waves of minor attacks on it while you build up, and that's a piece of cake if you have a few bombers and get some air defense up before they send their own air.
That's kind of awesome.
Well, a Hades costs a lot of radioactives, so you can't actually build them without spending radioactives, those shots show a grand total of one possible Hades built. If they're accurate, then he has to have cheated for you to have seen many of them.
I wouldn't make just maps, but custom scenarios are a great idea. As has been pointed out, people who are really jonesing for multiplayer typically buy these things early already, so they can get in on the action, and fragmentation is bad for the community. The unique setups are worth a lot more to the single player crowd than a regular map anyway, which means people are more likely to buy them as well.
Does the interface scaling not adjust mouse size?
Odds are there's quite a bit of variation in what you can do, so long as you use your engineer to cap the first metal point.
Uh, your resource acquisition would be why. You need to cap metals, not radioactives, first. You need to cap them with your starting engineer too. The best strategy at present is probably to build your factory at the metal point, in range of capping it while you do. The game loads, you move your engineer and click in a second one, not a whole lot of alternative here. You should be able to fund two factories right off the bat as long as you expand
This was introduced with their last update, I got the same grief finishing up the campaign. When you use Task Manager to kill a frozen task, you need to go to Processes and use End Process Tree instead. Doing the application often fails.
Dude, there already is one, pretty sure it's double click. :) I found it almost immediately, but the brain is fuzzy, oh so fuzzy...
If you're getting swarmed by dreadnoughts, you're taking a really long time to spread out. I only saw them one at a time. I just played through, first time. The last mission was a cake walk. You have enough resources in your corner area to support multiple cruiser production, and you have an anti-dread cruiser to work with as PHC, killing them is really easy. I was able to save Mac with about 50 logistics in mostly cruisers while I pushed
It's too slow. A 2.2Ghz clock is going to absolutely crush you if you try to play single threaded CPU intensive games. Sins of a Solar Empire would die horribly by late game, games based on the Clausewitz engine, like Crusader Kings 2, Supreme Commander, CivIV, the list goes on. GC3 would run great, but aside from DX12 games going forward, that's basically it. You'd probably get more than twice the performance in most CPU intensive games by
Dvorak isn't likely to be a top 3 though, and after that your account is locked out. :)
Sadly, password jokes aren't really necessary, passwords are already a joke to begin with... 1234 is pushing it, but for anything being hacked over the internet, you can use a six letter word, all lower case, and you're pretty much uncrackable. These worthless brute force cracking time generators all over the internet that tell you such things will be cracked in seconds are all assuming a locally run program that magically has no delay while it waits to se
The ability system and such is a custom made language, it's specific in it's usage, but still functionally the same as such things as XML, which is used in Stardock's games like Elemental in exactly the same manner. He doesn't get to look at the source code, but when he's working on the modifiable entity portion of the game, it's still code.
