I knew it was pointless, he can't even admit to making an appeal to authority. :)
Membership in the National Academy of Science is on the highest honors that a US scientist can receive. The NAS has had a few hundred Nobel Prize winners on it. But yeah, sure, its just a bunch of people trying to take over the economy.
Who said anything about the members? I've run Ardent Censer on Nami a few times, it's a bit of a lane wrecker. 6 seconds is the whole fight in lane, and 15% AS and 30 damage is a huge boost off a first item. Even buying sight stone first, your ADC can snowball hard in the lane fights. I'm expecting a nerf, it wouldn't be bad at all on a harder to aquire item, 15AS and 30 on hit damage is pretty minor at full build, but it builds from stuff you'd want to have anyway as an AP support, and it&#
Oh look, another appeal to authority... It's pointless, I've done it before after all, but I'm waiting on a response for work and have nothing better to do. Lets just pretend these aren't pseudo government agencies who depend on funding by people trying to get control of every facet of the economy for purposes of their own greed. Lets also pretend that there really is near unanimous support amongst scientists that the planet
There are some minor bug fixes and adjustments in the pipe, and a bunch of string changes from NewHorizons, but there will probably only be patch jobs unless new talent joins the team. I'm not disappearing any time soon regardless, so any bug posts will get dealt with. I think I have three, and at least one from NH ready right now, but they're either extremely rare, hard to even notice, or both, and none of them cause instability, so there's no real ru
Thoughts?
GISS has been falsified since 1999, when Hansen's team started editing historical data after their study concluded that he was wrong about the doom and gloom he started pimping in 1988 as head of the division. NASA had been slowly losing funding over the last decade, and got a bump the next budget year. Rewriting climate history is the only thing they've been doing since, this happens each time they put out a
No one can blame me, I was way too lazy to pick a star name...
Sounds like something is not working right, I've seen more than that without adjusting the settings.
Your posts are quite antagonistic.
Why thank you, I'm glad you noticed.
A mod is any modification of, addition to, or subtraction from, the base assets. When you adjust your planets with the options, you are adding no assets. When you add a custom portrait, background, etc, you are adding assets. You can argue that since you actually have to add those assets outside of the customizer to use them it's not a mod, but when you create a custom race, even without adding other assets, you are still generating a new asset. That custom race fi
Four skills, three seconds true sight is good for harassing people out of the bush, and cripple is a good skill for catching or escaping since Lee can tag the carry with it and then shield back to his own, getting them both out of danger. His only problem with being a solid support pick is that it's just so damned easy to kill people yourself with that 8% missing health damage amplifier. It makes him better at picking up kills, as opposed to securing them for
It's not. It's a question of whether the second one will just be another great audio/visual experience, or a great game. :) There are some majorly depressing features in the last game, and it's got nothing to do with being different from the original, they were just bad design decisions those of us hoping for a bit deeper of an experience would like to see changed in the sequel. If they stick with the same shallow AI design for combat, I've g
Frankly there are two camps as I see it. Either you are stuck in past worshiping at the altar of TUs, or you have evolved and recognize the major improvement that was the new 2 action system.
I was okay with the two action system, TU's are more flexible and lead to deeper action variety, but they're just as artificial and deeper variety doesn't equate to better. Tactical depth is accomplished by a variety of tactics, not a variety
There are games with an entire mod development kit built into the game itself, a mod is a mod whether the tools to build it are built into the gui or not. Accept reality, or live in your delusions of slight, the choice is yours.
A custom faction is a mod. Whether you use the in game generator to create your mod or not is irrelevant, it's just the same as adding or modifying any other asset. It's not even as simple as changing the maps are. The game does support 100 major opponents. It's quite playable with only two or three planets, you can even run up the ideology tree by getting the building that produces points ASAP. If this isn't your preference, then
Yes, yes it is. That guy is right behind the lawyers and politicians.
The "game" doesn't even have 20-40 factions, clearly this isn't the intended experience they would design maps around. If you want to create 20-40 factions to stuff them all into a map they don't really fit in, that's a choice outside of the norm. If you want them to actually fit, then you should probably consider taking the few seconds required to alter the maps to go with all that time you've spent creating custom factions. Familiarize
No one would bother colonizing anyway, colonies would be useless. Society would evolve to an unrecognizable anathema by the time contact was reestablished, and the colonists would revolt against having anything to do with their former brethren, possibly having become a strange cult during their trip. :)
i guess the most natural solution to all of those problems would be that you actually have to pick a fighter design when adding a carrier module to a ship. the ship will always use the design it was originally built with and the production and maintenance cost of the fighters is added to the module cost. no more auto upgrades - if you want better fighters, refit the carrier design and retrofit the carrier. or scrap the old carriers and build new ones - just like every other warship in
Sounds like it still lacks any grand strategic aspects from the original. Narrative is nice and all, but I really miss that whole multiple bases/assault teams bit where it was an actual struggle to stay ahead of the global incursions, instead of that one skyranger to rule them all nonsense we got for EU.
I'm just waiting to see how Ashes runs on dx11. Then I'll set up a dual boot with a real copy of 10, see how much better it performs in dx12, and figure out my upgrade plans from there. $530 bucks should go further than three years, ain't upgrading this Space Heater 680 unless it's absolutely necessary. Irrespective of 10, 7 stays 7. I've got my 98SE and XP cd's still lying around for when I need them too.
The way you find an ability is by following the trail. You'd look in PLANETMODULE_PSIORBITALHANGARDEFENSE, and see that it references one ability at the top, AbilityGiveModuleShields. Player files give lists of ships, structures, research, and you run the tree down from there to see what's got what.
I just nuked them a few hours ago, none were listed as security updates.
It's still just in the recommended section, critical updates are the only ones you need to do for security. :) It may claim to be important and list as the generic "solves problems" in an utterly underhanded way, but I only install the critical security fixes without looking at what they are. :)
Those are all in the recommended list, not the critical updates. They should be in the optional of course, but they're recommending you install adware, not telling you it's really important to do so for the security of your system.
Someone's sarcasm indicator broke...
