A properly multi-threaded application is going to benefit from hyper-threading simply because it can utilize the extra logical cores just like it can the extra physical cores. The real world benefit seems to be around 10%. Hyper-threading will do absolutely nothing for a single threaded application, and many report worse performance with it on, than off. As dx12 is supposed to be fully parallel, it should do the normal 10% performance boost that seems to be

Probably to escape the media. He's getting the shaft most likely, he apparently bought a permit and hired a professional guide. He'd have to be one fucking stupid bastard to intentionally hunt a tourist attraction, when he had already dropped $50k for a legal permit to hunt a lion. It looks like his guide figured it was easier to get a lion to leave the preserve than it was to find one off the preserve, but the world wants to lynch his ass regardless
well why does vanilla balance even pass validation as basis for an argument when fixed balance is sitting right there awaiting criticism? no. just take FAF balance and see that EXPs more than absolutely have their place.
Having a third of ten times as much damage as other units have hit points is still just as bad or worse than Sins titans, and they just wreck hundreds of fleet points in frigates like they're not even there. Well, he did start off by saying a dedicated environmentalist educated in one of the top universities in the world was just a guy with no credentials. It would be terrible to change his ways for the random asshole on the internet if he's going to dismiss someone that actually helped write climate modeling software for Uncle.

The extra information is good, but the GUI is pretty bad. Information is harder to get at a glance, things are too needlessly compacted, the color scheme is extremely blue. The new map already made me feel like my monitor was out of adjustment to begin with, whoever is leading this is seriously into blue, or maybe color blind, not sure which. Considering more people have higher resolution monitors now, I'm at a big loss as to why they'd think it'

The latest Medal of Honor game isn't going to be CPU bound. When was the last time you saw people benchmarking for large scale RTS games? It's Witcher 3 or Metro that gets used, not Sins of a Solar Empire. In a game where the CPU already has a lot to do, it's very easy to hit that first, and run into trouble even utilizing the GPU because of the lack of ability to feed it the necessary information from the CPU. Game designers have been creating i

Calling it global warming was a mistake because the planet wasn't actually in a sharp warming trend to begin with. We have been on a completely normal warming trend, with a multitude of recent(last few thousand years) and not so recent examples of both bigger and more rapid changes in both direction in tree and ice records. To the contrary of every environmentalist's wet dream, our little blip of an increase wouldn't even be a footnote in the last thousand years.

Riot is loaded, with or without Tencent. They're a billion dollar a year industry, dropping thirty million on something probably isn't even enough to dent their profit down below the previous year, they jumped to over a billion from the 600 million plus in revenue they made in 2013, even if 2015 is a lackluster year for growth, they'll probably still come up ahead.

LOL is not pay to win, mostly at least. They have a habit of making new champs pretty OP for the first couple weeks, but other than that you can't really buy much of an advantage, and frequent enough play would get it anyway. You pretty much just pay for skins, purely visual upgrades. Anything else can be obtained by points earned playing.

Yes and no. You're losing a lot if you're making money to rush production instead of making production. You're not losing a lot by using money to grow more effectively. While you spend ten times as much, the efficiency in your rate of growth is more important than money unless you're actually using it for other expenditures and don't have enough. In the early game, the initial expansion of your empire can be greatly improved, and ev

It's all good, Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum are still around to kick ET's ass, and, well... Yeah, I can't see that panty waist ever doing that. He'd probably be too busy trying to surrender once he can't get the UN to lead the charge for us.
