Been there twice, played around on the sea ice next to the park entrance, climbing glaciers frozen in the sea was a blast when I was a little kid. Now it's a really long walk from the parking lot to get to where the ice is. Muir glacier lost 7 miles between those two pictures, out of a total 18, a catastrophic loss by AGW reasoning. :) Unfortunately, it covered the whole of the glacier bay basin a century before that, which is about 65 m

I don't like Democrats any more than the next right wing crazy, but that's shoddy reasoning. The last president did damn near as much damage, economically, as our current one has. Bush 41 fucked the economy with the Clean Air act giving the EPA massive authority, Bush 43 fucked the economy with Ethanol requirements that actually pollute more, cost more, and damage engines all at once. Even the reasonably conservative Ronald Reagan helped pass environ

It can't be a toupee. It's his natural hair, zero possibility otherwise. The reasoning behind this is simple, you can see his shiny bald head through the epic comb over he has going. The dude is damn near bald on top, but it's his hair from the sides that you're looking at, not a wig. If he were wearing one, it would look better. Same deal on implants and whatnot, if he had them, they'd look better.

700ish gold 20 minutes in isn't really that big a boost to your late game. If you lose out on a couple kills because of your lower stats, you've more than burned the advantage already. You're lessening your ability to affect the lane early, and hoping your skill will edge out over the disability from your gold generation. All things being equal, it must result in a loss of some level in return, perhaps only a minion or two in farm, perhaps a deat

Even if you're just playing a game without any resources at hand, what if you're waiting for someone to pop online? Alt tabbing out every time someone logs in is a pain in the ass, especially if the game hangs up on alt-tab. With your lists on a second screen, in plain sight, you don't have that problem. A lot of people in stuff like MMO's will keep info up on a second screen, crafting recipes, drop lists, etc, hardcore strategy game players

I had dual monitors 10-15 years ago too, it's hard to get anything done with just one. :) I had this sweet 1600x1200 native resolution NEC for a primary, it was beautiful, and 80 pounds. People that don't have them just haven't learned yet, it would be impossible for me to function efficiently on a single display even if I were just using my system to play around and didn't make a living on it. If I ever get around to setting up my shelving so I can get rid o

9 armor really isn't that big a boost, hardly call to say it's a troll build to skip it. I don't run GP10 for them either, but I've never run armor on AP supports, I use mana regen. It's even better now that regen items only increase your base regen. My AP support page, which I use with champs like Nami who aren't damage focused, is flat magic pen, mp5, mana, and gp5 quints. My AP page is similar, but with scaling resist glyphs

Our modern missile destroyers are outfitted with ~100 independent weapons, nearly all of which are missile launchers. With Aegis, they can fire everything they've got at individual targets. There has never been a modern engagement between carrier battle groups. I would not expect WW2 era realities to hold true with modern fire control and guided missile defenses, that existed when ships were using explosive shells and AA guns to defend against dive bombing. We'

I use a coin start, it's great for sustain with mana regen runes, keeps up monetarily, and Talisman is excellent for flight and pursuit. Spellthief requires risky behavior to keep up with it, and Relic just can't. It's only serious detraction is that it wont help you win an all in. On the other hand, it would be really nice to have Frost when your adc is Throwy McThrow and can't lane for shit...

This is a somewhat strange thread... Carriers aren't really a ship, they're a ship carrying gobs of craft. Regardless of whether you equate GC3 with WW2, this is true. In GC3, the craft are free, the carrier costs similarly to the battleships, and they just shit all over them without recourse. Operating a carrier is a massive cost, it ain't in GC3.

Okay, that guy is just disturbing. Truly. My favorite class is some guy that was molested... Evil incarnate, ruling over an army of slaves reaped from the dead of his enemies, reduced to an asshole with daddy issues, and replaced by whiny twats that seek to avoid the pain of mortality by killing themselves. The poofter didn't get beat up enough in grade school.

Blegh... I'll end up sticking with 2 and 3 I expect. 5 is terrible, 6 is terrible, and 7 looks to carry on the tradition of raping the original factions. Where's my zombies and mummies, why do we have some stupid spider? I want my trolls back, damnit! 3 added so many great features, but 2 has the best factions, and despite using their evolutions, 7 isn't even close to having the character of the original six.

If this isn't an odd attempt at a joke, you really do need your meds adjusted. To add to your strangely disturbed fantasies where your posts in this thread resemble reality about as much as an 80's sci-fi flick, the term Ponzi Scheme was coined based on the works of Charles Ponzi. He was a particularly ambitious criminal that defrauded a significant number of investors and became nationally infamous, by using new investors to pay off old ones, while not actually

I can't tell if he's joking or serious... Smart isn't what you say he is because your history and present activities you drew out for him are factually inaccurate. He is not and never has been some sort of management expert that gets brought in to cut products down to get them on budget. He's an independent game developer, he does his own unwieldy projects that take years to finish in an unpolished state. They're not particularly go

Trump is amazingly rich, Smart might be rich, but I seriously doubt he's even a billionaire. How many copies of BCM3KAD can he possibly have sold? Sareth01, it can't really get any clearer than it already is Derek Smart isn't in any way working with CIG. They didn't even want him as a founding pledger and kicked him out. He is suggesting they have nefarious intentions to refund their kickstarter contributors before leaving everyone hold
Then Darek Smart comes along, a gaming industry "closing man", who likes to gut games to ensure that the investors get their money's worth and a game makes it to market. This man, and his type, are a big reason for mediocre games in the market. The thing that troubles me about his interaction with star citizen is that they actually publicly acknowledged him.
Derek Smart was hired as President of Quest Online, and took up project leadership

Someone is on some good shit... Derek Smart is the asshole(tm) behind 3000 AD, and if he's doing anything with Star Citizen after they cancelled his kickstarter pledge and told him to go away, it's in the form of a groundless lawsuit that wont go anywhere. He's definitely not a feature slashing closer, not that such things are actually bad, his games are some of the most horrifyingly overcomplicated games in existence Do you perh

Yes, it's much better to not have rich people. If only we were all peasant farmers living to our mid 40's, free of such horrible things like modern transportation, medicine, supermarkets...
