It was put in place I thought to better game loading times. If that is true, then I'd prefer (sorry devs) it to be an option to have it either way. As for the load game etch-a-sketch, I think the first major AI on the list doesn't get freed up to talk on a load, the rest however do as well as minors.
I think as many aspects as possible of the 'etch-a-sketch' load game should be removed, personally. It's very off-putting and detracts from the immersiveness of the
The idea that you can affect game outcomes by simply saving a game and immediately reloading it is insane, but there it is: Are you worried about having to skirt that fleet around Yor space? No problem, just save the game, and Yor space will have shrunk dramatically when you reload it because the influence state information is lost.
I second fixing the load game feature. One's influence should not retract at the beginning of every game. Another branch of this co
My only gripe is the spelling errors. If the typos could be corrected in descriptions, etc., it would do wonders towards improving the presentation of the overall product. Just my two cents. (I do have a thread on this, elsewhere, that has gone unattended. Once 2.0 comes out, I'll go back and either complete the list or begin experimenting with a text editor.)
"National Association for the Advancement of Colored People" is the official name of the NAACP. What would Stardock change it to?
I was wondering whether someone could outline the basic gameplay differences between DA and TA for a player ready to plunge into a longer game (Immense/Tough, as Iconians). Of course, we're all familiar with the new features, but I'm looking for a simple, practical comparison in economy, maintenance, war, population, and game phases (the core mechanics). I write this because I've seen a number of posts discussing the impacts of these updates, but ha
That was my first thought; at first, being an XML file, I couldn't figure out how to edit the text, but checking again on it, I did manage to open the text in Wordpad. That said, there's still a mountain of code around each line, and sifting through the entries isn't very easy. But, I may be able to bypass this process of reporting and get straight to the editing; in that case, I would simply compile a .zip file and post a link to it here. I'll keep you informed as to what I think the
Thanks for the help, guys. I hope we can compile a good list in time for one of the newly-announced patches on the way from Stardock. My report begins as follows; note, all corrections are in accordance with standard American English, and in some cases may not be correspond to British English rules. 1. I haven't seen this posted elsewhere, so I thought it would be nice to create a log of the spelling and typographical mistakes for Twilight of the Arnor; a little something to make a great game better. The writing in-game is very good, and fixing the niggling issues of grammar, etc. would be cosmetic, but impactful. Please post any and all errors regarding (English) language, with clear indication as to where they occur. Also, if a text editor is commonly available I
