Yor Lack of Diplomacy in Game Talk GalCiv2 Forums

I'm curious as to how Yor players -- in the context of larger scale games -- deal with their comparatively horrible diplomacy. Diplomacy, at least in my experience, can make a big difference between having decent relations with almost everyone, and having a number of races constantly breathing down your neck threatening war.
