As I thought, guns in a melee fight bestow unto the gunner a horrendous advantage. A disclaimer: I do not contend that Regulus on his own is imbalanced. I do however contend that given how his primary ability is his gun (crossbow.... its a gun) and given that that weapon`s ability is improved by virtue of dedicated and compounding skill point applications, when you encounter *FOUR* Regulus characters all together they are unstoppable. It reminds me of Zerglings charging a Terr

Each expansion should require all previous ones, in my opinion. Keeps things sane. Also wise from a game balance perspective as the expansions build upon and play off the balances of their predecessors.
Game speed is perfect to me.
Not a change so much as an improvement: better pathfinding for A.I. units. Right angle or greater pathways can confound Minions that attempt to follow you. Maybe this is something that needs to be addressed on a map-by-map basis rather than on a general A.I. basis. I suspect you folks are already looking at this though.
Hey! Its not spam! (grin) Thanks Bichur...
Upper Echelon Favour Items It occurred to me that with all the Favour points one might acquire in the course of playing Demigod, a substantially extended array of Favour Items featuring many super-high-end devices might be ideal. Not that the abilities of said items need to be phenomenally better than regular items... just perhaps slightly moreso. After all, you don`t want to unfairly reinforce a victorious player`s momentum such that a
Just played another one and this time my Darkness won! Yeehah... Sleep makes demands of me...
Now that the latest build of Demigod is so damn good, do we have a revised estimate of a release date for the full version? What is still on the to-do list for Demigod? Musical score? Single-player campaign? Additional levels? Different game modes? New Demigods? If any of the aforementioned might qualify as welcome surprises for the full retail version, please feel free to disregard specifics in any replies... I`m very comfortable preserving some mystery for the full version.
I just played a Slaughter mode game in the Pantheon. I lost, it was a close game. It was a good game. It was very cool! Thumbs up! Looking forward to more!
Greetings anybody, I was hoping someone could tell me how to generate a list of e-mail addresses under a single title in Outlook 2003, so that I address an e-mail to said title and it gets sent out to everyone on the list. I also need to know how to do that while keeping all the addresses hidden from all recipients (a Bcc list, essentially I believe). I have tried multiple times to sift through the attendant help files in Outlook, but they aren`t much help. Its easy I am sure,
[quote who="weissengel86" reply="23" id="2089267"]What i would like to see is more divergence in the three factions. New ships should be different for each faction with no analogues. For example rather then everyone having a long range frigate with different stats and abilities how about a new type of ship that no other faction has at all. I definitely like the new diplomacy options the game needs its especially for the genre it strives to be in. I think what

No man - each player can buy it, so if 3 players with wyrmskin gloves hit you the effect stacks. I've never seen this and the co

I disagree with the thought to lower hits of Minions of any type. A Demigod can command his army to attack a foe, then run away while the Minions do their thing. Granted they won`t be supported by ambient buffs and auras at the time, but lowering their hits to make them glass cannons just means they`ll be more susceptible to special attacks, even with an area effect protection statistic given unto them. Lower their hits and I would demand a return of greater numbers as with previous
This new intro trailer brought a hearty smile to my face, thats for sure... http://www.gamershell.com/news_70704.html (one of a number of download sites for it...) Glad they have the original narrator.
While we are at it, lets not forget to bring down to Earth the RIDICULOUSLY expensive B5 DVD complete set. I`m not paying $300 for 5 seasons of anything, even Babylon 5. I want to, but those prices are extortion. Amazon has it for cheaper, but beyond the main $200 point all the shippers will not ship to Canada. Price for this should be around $110 or so.
I know, but you specifically mentioned the beta.
Just one thing. I don`t think (?) LAN will work yet with Demigod... that option is not yet available in the beta. The button is there, but its all online action for the moment, isn`t it? I could have sworn I checked that functionality with the new beta.
I shall do that... either when wielding them (since I`m a Vasari Tyrant at heart), or when being hammered by them. Sounds like I may *need* a Kostura Cannon for those. Which is great!
I`m very pleased by the most recent build of Demigod. I regret I do not have the time to be indepth, but I see everything coming together very nicely. Small things, like tweaking of Gold Income rates and Teleport Scroll costs, indicate to me that those in charge have the critical eye necessary to not only make this a fair contest but a fun one as well. Really good job. Haven`t tried Pantheon play yet, but will soon.
Scope? Erebus? What is "Scope"?
Just reiterating/bumping this desire - continually visible Fleet icons that supercede any empire System Info Panel elements beneath them. Please?
After the developers have taken a breath, I wonder when we might instigate a pre-order of the next expansion. Another $10 is definitely in my future.
