What do you mean by "blinking"?
the Direct Downloaded version. No idea why I did think of that before until just now. But, possibly, are the people here who get minidumps (constantly like me not just random ones) have the Direct Download Version also?
There is no difference.
clearly we should all board the "OP is spamming!" bannedwagon without regard for how slow and screwed up the forum is half the time
I wouldn't mind playing on smaller maps
Spoiler: you did. What do you want, two planets?
Well, uh, yeah. The frigate spawn instantactiontype can spawn any frigate.
:(
Yeah, basically this.
it cant be too hard to mod the hard code
Yes, it can, considering it's compiled in an executable.
I have had similar issues with metal and crystal. But my issue is random. Sometimes its one thing, sometimes its another...some games its fine some games its not. Perhaps I need to patch it I dont believe I have done that yet. Thanks for the advice ppl who replied to this thread and to the person who posted it: I the patch fixes the issues ur having.
This thread is about 5 months old and talked about an issue in the beta version of the game.
I see what you did there. Have we finally drove you to drinking?
No, just liaisons with Master Chief in the back of a GameStop. :p
Stardock needs to stop developing whatever the next game is and start actually "bug" testing the one they released. Poor release's and press by people who buy up front have been known to kill some "really" good games, and I honestly believe this one of those truly great games... IF I could get mine to WORK !
Your problem is not as common as you'd like to believe. I have had one crash in the entire time I've played the retail game.
In your 4th TEC build, you mention that Illuminators don't get the bonus damage on light frigates, but in the in-game info card, it says they are strong against them. Is this a glitch in the game?
Yes - they do Anti-Capital damage, as opposed to the Anti-Medium damage done by the other races' LRs.
I would request that the mods allow me to edit ALL my initial posts in this thread,
You want the mods to change the forum software for you? Micro is probably the most helpful. I've found that while a lot of players focus-fire the cap, a decent player ends up getting it out anyway and that you end up doing much more economic damage if you destroy his light frigates. With a repair station, he can be back on his feet relatively quickly, but without frigate support i
I was going to post something snarky and sarcastic but Pnakotus is pretty much dead-on. Developers shouldn't have to and don't cater to every request, and the "I'm not going to do any research, just blindly buy the game and then complain if the game doesn't have X feature" is reminiscent of another thread we had on here recently. Had it not had subtitles, you could have just asked nicely for someone to sub them or explain the game story anyway. It's a pretty arrogant attitude to make t
Play a bigger map if the game is too short.
A Dxdiag report is not your social security number. Just email support.
On Islam: according to the Koran, the way a person gets to heaven is by being more good than they are bad (basically), kinda like catholics (not saying Muslims and catholics are the same, just drawing an analogy). The only way a Muslim can be 100% sure he's going to heaven (because Allah didn't bless them with a good-o-meter) is by killing infidels. Seriously, I kid you not. That is why there is a jihad and why Islam was known for centuries as "the religion of the sword". The big differen
build eco labs, do economy build first will mean sure death. I know a lot of people get away with it, but that is really due to the game being new and a lot of new players that are not agressive.
Exactly. You get _crushed_ on a single-star map if you go eco.
MaxCommandPoints, I believe.
The game will gladly use the memory available to it. Highest textures in particular will require large amounts of memory.
Ah, that makes sense. I'd expect less of that to go on in the system memory rather than the graphics card's memory, though. I suppose with the higher-res and detail it makes sense.
Changing the mesh does not change the entity type. You cannot add a weapon to a planet regardless of whether it's an asteroid, a dreadnought, or a balloon.
I'm going under the assumption that the DDoS'ers are actually from rival companies threatened by Sins, and Stardock in general. Kinda an advanced version of plants that are paid bash rival games.
Hahaha, oh wow.
You can get it resent, there's an option in SDC to email your serial(s) iirc.
Don't think you can do that, but you can shift-click to queue up attacks.
