JC. As far as the startmenu search text color. Actually it can be changed on win 10. However on 7 it can't. So on 10 you can use an image that matches the SM. However on 7 a skinner has to make a choice to match a darker skin with a darker image or use a light one that doesn't match well. You know which way that goes. I made a thread on 6/22/18 and mentioned this and asked if it can be looked into for win 7. All I received on the entire thread was the standard reply passing it on to support.

If you spelled out the skin name correctly (glitch) I can't find it here on WC. As far as how you are changing the colors I'm not even sure how to get to that window. I can't find it using WB or SKS. so you know as far as I know all us skinners use SKS. I do know that some people do like to change what they can or a couple things using WB. I mentioned email because you could send screenshots. Yes you can show them here but I prefer not to use a thread for a possible many back an

Sometimes a post needs to be long to understand. You did your best with that. You situation is not new. With dark skins there are usually some areas with hard to read text. You didn't mention making any changes is SKS (skinstudio) SKS is the place to make them but changing some area from black text is almost impossible. Here is what I can do for you to try and help. If you want you will need to PM me with your email address. I prefer to work using email. I have a dark skin calle

I'm not a technical SD person so this is a suggestion only and you can decide what you wish to try or do. Do the purge as advised and reboot. I have however heard about the color situation in the past. Before you uninstalled WindowBlind if you didn't apply the "Default Theme" it may cause this situation. If you did apply it forget the below. IF after the purge and reboot you still have this problem you may want to try this. Install Windowblinds again. Make sure you have the "D

For what it's worth. My first computer was a Commodore 64. Many things have come and gone some good and some not so good. I continue to use my Win 7 machine most of the time. Mainly now because I prefer to make WB's on it and it's my desktop. However I have yet to fine a problem with my win 10 computer. Visually with Start10, Windowblinds, Fences and OldNewExplorer, I find it looks just great. In fact one of my WB screenshots was on my win10 and you can't even tell it wasn't win7. Hav

Tom, Mike does all he can do by reporting it but I have a post over a month old and can find several more with the same reply with no reply back. My question is one that could help you and any WB skinner. Won't even get a can't be done. Not putting any time into looking for the solution, etc. Nothing. If the startmenu search area can be controlled using win 10 I can't believe with a fix it can't be fixed to work on 7. If I'm wrong just tell me that's all. But no answer all the t
