I'll just have to either bite the bullet and put up with it or ..... hmmmm, I can't even say it
Tony, 29 second at each boot you will never miss. Isn't 29 seconds worth the great look WB brings? I will answer, YES. Smile.

The owner "Jorge" of Winstep is and has been a member here for many years. Many people here use Stardocks great programs along with nexus dock. Object seems to work for some on Win10 and not others. I for one have used it for 10 years and love it. On my win ten and now my win7 machine I like to use Fences. May wish to give Fences https://www.stardock.com/products/fences/ a try as it's very good for organization. You c

I have just moved the taskbar Left, Right top, Bottom, several times and applied each time. I have no problem what so eve and never had.

As Uvah said above. I also don't have the link to the tutorial but someone will find this and provide it. The tutorial is very basic but gives a good idea and it was great Kitty took the time to make it for new skinners. As far as learning many more things I for one and others will answer questions. you however are going to have to commit to learning and just try many things on your own to see what does what. To start with you are permitted to use the Stardock Diam

I said file explorer above but I meant Microsoft Edge where the page is correct. I did however see how to use IE 11 on win10. Could have corrected me and given me a hint. I confirm it is messed up on 7 and 10. Not that I doubted you just didn't know I could get IE on win10 till now. Old farts are usually behind the current times. (no comment on that required)
PM means Private Message. It can be done by clicking on a member's name. You'll get options.
Jim you pretty well hit it with your first reply. I added about all I could above. To many programs WB can't do anything about and us WB makers are also tied up so to speak. I do however understand how complicated it is to try and fix it all. Makes it hard when these programs that won't skin all do something different to cause
Pete, I am not the real guy to answer this, but I can tell you that there are some apps/programs don't skin well, if at all.
Actually Jim said it correctly. There are many programs people use that us people that make windowblind skins have no control over. This isn't a new situation and have no doubt if there was a way to make WB skin everything it would have been done long ago. Hope I'm correct saying this. W
WindowBlinds reloads windows explorer and the windows system settings such as fonts. SKS does not do that (I think).
BigDog for the normal stuff closing Explorer if the changes didn't apply and opening it will so the changes. not many skinners change the system fonts. But if they are changed you are correct and switching a WB and going back to the one you are changing most likely be needed. Only mentioned wha
That isn't a bug. Think of SkinStudio as making changes to the Skin and saving to file. WindowBlinds is needed to apply the changed skin file. The changes you are making in the skin file are not active until after you apply the skin.
Yes and no. Actually any image changes will change when you change them in SKS and click apply. What you may have a problem with and have to apply another skin

SkyyDX: you can change all you want in SKS. However you still have to associate all the locations in SKS for each. Example. All the fonts for locations that are set to OSdefault will still be osdefault. You would have to locate all those locations in SKS and change the font to your font. EX: TheCaption WB. I gave the location above. You would have to go and change the osdefault to your font. All the different places you have to change in SKS. In windows Explorer wi

This is the information I can give you. I thought skinstudio came with Windowblinds. however it was a separate download found in the SD store. I did however check out The Caption skin for you. Not all sections but as far as the startmenu and taskbar buttons they are set to the OS default so I would think in win10 you could change the os fonts. But I use SKS for that and don't mess with the windows settings. So I changed the startmenu text and TB buttons text in SKS "Edit Start M

I can only find one skin as I should called Dark Theme. The skin was made in 2005 and may have several things wrong with it. Because it so old I can't point you to just one location that may fix your situation. Do you have this problem with newer skins. There are several that are dark to try. At the top of Wincustomize click on Explore and click Windowblinds. Top right in search area just type Dark and hit enter. Maybe you may find another dark skin you like there. I ma
I cannot say that this will be addressed specifically (only because the details are not yet known)
sd, I saw all the post. As someone that makes a lot of windowBlinds I confirm there is no control of the list view transparency. I actually don't care if it's corrected or not as I'm use to it. However to say "details are not known" how are you saying that? Don't know what you mean by the word details. The correct thing to

I can't tell you about a 3 year old thread. I can say not many are being made maybe that is why no one sees Icon threads. However there was just a very nice set uploaded a few days ago. Perhaps you can PM this person for some advise. The link below. I would be happy to help except and never made icons. https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/iconpackager/2161/

So you know. I make a lot of Windowblind skins. Never worried about this. however decided to do and try everything possible I could think of. Can't get rid of the transparency no matter what. so either the software guys can't fix this or haven't found out how yet. Could be it's so hard coded into the windows system it can't be corrected. I at least feel better knowing I tried like hell to fix this thing and even checked with another person. Would be nice if St
