sure there are no game breaking bugs and I never had the game hard freeze or crash to desktop. However there are some weird things happening once and then: -enemy unit does nothing when It is its turn in tactical combat, you cannot resume combat and need to autoresolve rest of battle ( seems to happen with Hoarding spider the most ) -Growth in town x suddenly becomes 0. Despite plenty of food. Reload fixes it. - Recently I created a city and coul
One of the the best 4Xs ever created -
I am not sure I would go there yet, but if they keep polishing it and fix the bugs and few annoyances it should live on and be remembered as a Top tier game I hope.

I had never used Tornado before. Just had gotten my mage lev 5 in air. Then I had a very bad surprise when Capitar DOWed me and came up with 3 stacks of nasties up my hindquarters the very next turn. After pondering what to do I took a look at my spell book and decided to try that. I laughed myself so hard at the result that I reloaded the turn before to do it again, recording it at the same time. This totally destroyed the invasion force. I then split my army in 3 groups of 2-

I have not played FA long enough to know all its quirks but there seems to be a sweet spot in the balance of Map size - number of opponents - Difficulty level. Large map + high difficulty + few opponents might give you more of that epic feel. I used to play normal maps with 4 opponents. There is almost no wilderness by the time everyone has a few cities. I then tried a large map. Feels much different. The best games are those that keep you one the line fo

Is there an in depth description of all the changes in the game from one difficulty to the next? I tried to google it but found nothing. The Mouse Over tool tip does not tell you much. Its like at expert: Says that enemies get an economic bonus and that sovereign if buffed. So Ok I think they will research faster, build faster get more gold/mana and the sovereign will have more HP etc. But in truth I noted more things than that. Al

The same thing will happen in pretty much any strategy-4x games. Once you know you have won, that its just a matter of time and tedious clicking, I consider myself victorious and start a new game. To counter this, as previous poster pointed you need to up difficulty. I am currently playing on Ridiculous and getting owned. But I can beat expert. I'd rather get owned at Ridiculous than play a game at expert I am basically sure to win. No challenge, no

WoM maybe had the potential but it was broken by bad gameplay. Last time I played War of Magic, ( just before FA beta release ) It was so riddled with annoyances that I found it near unplayable by my own standards. Or just too annoying to be enjoyed. I think fixing annoyances should be a top priority, especially severe ones. It can totally break the experience for many people. I bought WoM on release day and played it less than 7 hours total. I like spiders :) I find them very cute. I find the spiders in elemental to be pretty benign honestly. Considering they are a staple enemy of many games, this must severely limit your gaming choices.

I like the Air+Death combo wizard and will use it as support with lots of buff/debuffs. Typically I use my heroes as support and leave the dirty work to my regular troops. As such I like Defender heroes and support wizard as sovereign. Seems to work well in this game. A Defender hero + guard ability is insanely strong with good use of Guard skill. Can turn a row of militia into a sturdy wall.

True, Fallen Enchantress is a very good game. I was part of the Beta but did not play it for nearly a year and started playing it a few weeks ago. I am pleased by how it has matured.

I remove this option because it significantly improve the game performance on my somewhat old computer. The problem: When you remove the "display other outlines" option, the tile highlight for movement range in battles become almost invisible. I have to squint like crazy to see them. On some terrain type I have to go to option and reactive just for the battle. So I have to chose between ruining my vision or bad FPS.

Hey there, just started playing this game a few days ago. I like it. Im still officially a noob and self admittedly i kind of suck. However im not blind and sort of noticed this thing going on. On about 5 games played online at least 3 ended with some players "vanishing" from the game, usually at "convenient" moments, ( for them) reminds me of my young days playing starcraft when you could simply unplug the modem from your network card and get a draw instead of a lose. Bandits would be cool if you could have them do bandit things, a bit like the spies in civ4 -Robbery ( attempt to infiltrate city to steal gildar, failure means your bandit can be caught and killed, could mean diplo penalty) -Murder ( Try to kill an enemy unit or hero, partial success could result in injuries to hero ) -Arson ( destroy a building ) -Bribery (try to buy the enemy hero ) -Steal technology etc... Of course your band

In the current beta state, I can relate to you for I somewhat feel the same. But I think the "multi tiles" cities and "building placement" schemes were originally intended to be somewhat of an innovation for this type of TBS game. I agree we still have to see it implemented in a way that lets it live to this premise, but there has been ideas and discussions on the subject. There are some interesting strategical aspect that could potentially be developed around the "multi

Personally I like it when characters in a game are making all sorts of Badass commentary. One of my all time favourite in this regard is Jagged Alliance 2. If you played JA2 you know what i mean :p I think there would be room for some creative work with the voices in FE. But of course this is but my opinion. If you really hate this guys many variations of YyYyYeEeEeEsSsS, i suppose you could delete the wavs in your equivalent directory. C:\FallenEn
