This has always annoyed me as well. The only way I know of to "fix" it is to change the desktop color in the Window Blind itself, meaning you'd need SkinStudio to do it. If anyone has further information or a better way of doing it than this I'd also love to hear about it! :D

Using WHOIS at networksolutions will tell you the owner of the domain, who you can then try to contact. Good luck with it, I've had entire web sites (1000s of pages) stolen by Eastern European sites and kids before. Unless you can prove economic harm and/or their ISP is cooperative you often have very little legal recourse unfortunately. :(

I have used Falcon Northwest computers for more than a decade. They cost a bit more than some others, but they just plain work and are fast. You can even get a decently priced "off the shelf" Fragbox small form factor machine with the best bang for the buck parts they'd put in a custom job for around $2K. These guys invented the "custom game PC" market and they are still probably the best boutique PC assembler out there. Worth having a look.

Yes, well [e digicons][/e] I liked yours, honestly they were all good. I just found the ones above more interesting for a variety of reasons. I will say in general your blinds were all quite usable and technically probably better than more than half of my list. It would not surprise me if one or more got into the finals! My favorite of yours was MommasboyVista, the coloring possibilities are quite good with that one. If I was a fan of metallic blinds (which I am not alas) O Stage V wo

I've been following the submissions with a lot of interest and have been using many of the blinds. I run VISTA, and I was extremely pleased to see a wide variety of high quality Vista blinds, something I've been unhappy with since switching from XP early 2008. After having run all of the submissions through their paces, here's my personal, totally unofficial votes for which skins should make the final 10 windowblinds. (n.b. I ran a user interface design and user testing group for several year
