I know there have been issues in the past with skins being pulled from the gallery because certain or a lot of the graphics in it matched graphics in size in other skins to the pixel. SO...how do you follow anyones template? (I have been following the templates that 2of3 sent me but have purposely gone out of my way to change the sizes of the png's. From the height of the taskbar to the window frames, etc., etc.)
When she says

It brings up this frame builder thing, and then I click the "Import into all frames" radio box, pull in my first .png, which fills in all the spaces for buttons with an equal distance between them when I save, then click the "Import into selected frames" and fill them in with the correct ones for each button state, then click the "Save file as" button to save the whole works in the .wba file, and I don't have to worry about being a pixel off somewhere. <img src="htt

I know Kitty and I differ on this, but why not use the frame builder for the different images so you don't risk being a pixel off between images? I use the frame builder--I make all the different states of the button on the same PSD, save the separate images as png, then import them in the frame builder. My math sucks, even with a calculator (and my depth perception isn't the best either -- frickin' presbyopia). As for your radio buttons, the image

"Fun addicting time killer"....for a GUY! [e digicons]>:([/e] No drama, no romance, no recipes or DYI craft instructions...not even any matching involved. [e digicons]:hrmph:[/e] I tell ya, I hesitated opening this post because there aren't enough skinning hours in the day the way it is; the last thing I need is a fun, addicting, time killer, however, I'm way too curious and give in to temptation when my morning coffee hasn't kicked in yet. Then I find

There's a bill in congress right now, H.R.3596, the United States Call Center Worker and Consumer Protection Act, that would "require a publicly available a list of all employers that relocate a call center overseas and to make such companies ineligible for Federal grants or guaranteed loans and to require disclosure of the physical location of business agents engaging in customer service communications." I think this is a good first step and bringing US jobs back within our own b
Where could a company here hire up 3000 engineers in a week?
Do we need ACTUAL engineers, or can we train some fairly bright people to do the work of an engineer without an engineering degree, and perhaps give them a path to work at becoming an actual engineer? (you know...apprentice, journeyman, master?) Can't we, in the name of patriotism, hire a few fixer uppers, rather than demanding the full workforce have Ph.D.
According to the article, it has more to do with the type of expertise that is readily available there – lots of people with mid level technical knowledge (i.e. people with say 2 year degree equivalents) that tend to get poo-pooed here in the US.
What Doc said, "Oh yes... and a government which funded the whole thing."
