Bribery and Backstabbing in Dark Avatar GalCiv2 Forums

Hello, I am complete noob to GalCiv and am playing the "Bribery and Backstabbing" level on beginner. The objective is to create a lasting peace between the races. Everyone starts off at war with the me and the Korath Clan. I have given a ton of gifts (technology and money) to the Korx, Terran, and Altarians. I have changed my alignment to good and have a strong military. I have also researched all the diplomacy techs, accept Star Federation. They just keep telling me "Thanks, but
