Have you changed anything about your security software or settings?
Mirsguy
I think this is one of the kinks that needs ironed out, since there doesn't seem to be a way to do it at this point. [e digicons]:S[/e]
Did you unload IP after you applied the default icons? Did you try rebooting afterwards?
Another sidenote: Suanough, Wizard is absolutely correct about installing themes. Now let me tip you off concerning archiving. Every time I download a theme (that I like) I save a copy of the .wba in a separate folder. This will come in handy if you ever get a new machine, or worse yet, if something happens to your current machine.
Have you tried applying the default Windows icons through IconPackager? If not, try doing so, then uload IP. Then, if you want to use an IP for everything but folder icons, then choose an IP, then go under the "Icons & Cursors" tab, then under "Folders." For each folder you wish to be the default, check the "Restore default icon" button. [e digicons]:)[/e]
Congrats!
I don't know what we're going to do with all the comedians in here! [e digicons][/e]
None taken. [e digicons]:sun:[/e]
Nice buttons, very Prowler like
John, I haven't referenced a one of your skins in creating this one--either in style or in settings. [e digicons];)[/e] The inspiration behind those buttons came partly from various ideas from Hyperdesk. [e digicons]
Very imaginative! [e digicons][/e] [e digicons]5*[/e]
Great picks! Congrats everybody! [e digicons]:)[/e]
Thanks guys! It's now complete enough for me to use at work on my big screens, and I'm lovin' it! [e digicons]:D[/e] Definitely my fav of all my skins so far.
I always like these sort of articles; thanks for starting it again, ID! [e digicons][/e] Congrats on the feature, Tom! [e digicons]B)[/e]
Todays update: Window frames are taking shape. Decided to beef up the theme as a whole.
Somehow I missed this when it was first posted. This is a truely noble endeavor. What better beneficiaries of your art than your own children! [e digicons]5*[/e]
Great! [e digicons]\o/[/e]
The numbers seem to have been a little off in random places lately. I've noticed supposed discrepencies in the WB & ObjectDock popular skins lists over the last several days.
Did it work before, and it "broke?" If so, maybe a reboot is in order. Have you updated Fences through Impulse? BTW- Which version of Fences, and which OS are you using? 32- or 64-Bit?
Happy Birthday Brad! Have a great one! [e digicons]:pizza:[/e]
Lastly, when you purchase off a page, do you read every word....????? especially after "trailing" it??? When you install software do you read the term and condition???
The mention of Impulse on Fences' home page is not hidden in the fine print. It's right there, out in the open. Personally, if I'm spending my money on something, I tend to read up on the product. No, I don't read all the fine print, but like I said: The mention of Impulse was not in the fine prin
I see no need for another prog to be installed to install the program I bought and paid for.
Yeah. Impulse takes up a whopping 21.3 Mb on my machine. [e digicons][/e] [e classic];P[/e]
[e digicons][/e] [e digicons]*_*[/e] [e digicons]}:)[/e]
I believe the buttons shown are the unskinned/default buttons. I'm sure the final will be very different.
[e digicons]k1[/e] Oh, and I've got plans for the start button. [e digicons]:X[/e] [e digicons]*_*[/e]
Thanks guys. The top window frame will be changing. As do many things in skinning, I have realized after applying in real life (instead of just in mock-up form) it doesn't look and perform just as it should. [e digicons]:omg:[/e]
Progress on Window Frames:
