You're welcome, Willi. Well, the menus are not exactly what I wanted, but they're pretty close. [e digicons]:)[/e]

Thanks Starkers! [e digicons]:)[/e] Evidentally, Pop-up menu item text must be among those pesky things in SKS that can't be edited, even though there are settings for them. [e digicons]X([/e] Well, Brysgirl gave me a work around idea that might just work. If it doesn't, I either pray that Neil fixes the settings, or I punt. Hmm. I've not noticed any font issues. Running WB on 2 different machines.
Y'all are too kind. I love you guys. Here's a quick update on where I'm at. Yep. I'm slow. [e digicons]X|[/e]
This happens to me occasionally. Usually, I have to: 1. Apply Aero using WindowBlinds. This will usually give me the gray classic look, though. 2. Unload WindowBlinds. 3. Right-Click on the desktop and choose "Customize" 4. Choose an Aero theme. Note-this will also change your wallpaper. 5. While you're at it, make sure your window color is set to Aero. 6. Re-apply your WindowBlind. I know this is squirly, but it works (
also watch the gradient banding in the start menu glass. Please excuse the "Duh" factor, but what the heck is that?
Gradient banding is a visible line where one color ends and the next starts, like bands of color, instead of a smooth transition from one color to the next.
It would be nice if there were some release notes with each new update that would tell us what has been added or fixed.
I've been . . . distant . of late but try nto to miss the parties.
Still having spelling troubles, I see... [e digicons][/e] Oh, and Happy B-Day Hankers! [e digicons][/e]
Excellent choices.
Lookin' good! As far as a name is concerned, how 'bout "Burnt Sienna"? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burnt_sienna
Java wanted to update this morning, so I got my flashing button. [e digicons]:)[/e] Unfortunately though, I'm getting the same thing. The flashing button text seems to be uneditable. I even tried clearing out all the code and re-setting things, to no avail. I'm guessing this is an issue with SkinStudio that might need some attention.
I saw that you had the flashing button with WMP, but it doesn't act that way for me. I've tried other programs that have given me semi-regular flashing buttons, like Photoshop, Indesign, etc. No go. [e digicons]>:([/e]
Okay, dumb question: Is there a way you can "on purpose" make a button flash? I'm trying to mimick your problem, but can't get a button to flash.
Happy Cake Day! [e digicons]:D[/e]
shouldn't it be Plasma Cannon?
[e digicons][/e] Ya know, I'm a photographer... and... photographers spell Canon with one n! Maybe I oughtta rethink this skin and call it the Canon Mark 7d! [e digicons][/e]
Thanks Ross! [e digicons]:)[/e]
Who knows. These problems happen sometimes. It could be a site error or even an error with your service provider or netowork. Have you tried using Internet Explorer instead?
I will definitely give that some thought. Thanks! I may make an alternate start button... cuz, well... I kinda like this one. [e digicons]:X[/e]
I spent the day getting fatter
After the enchiladas con queso chihuahua, Mexican rice, potatoes with chorizo, and brownie delight dessert, I did too! [e digicons]:D[/e]
I don't like the start button at all
Deea, what would you suggest?
Thanks everyone! [e digicons]:D[/e] The skin is well underway. I'll be posting some screen shots soon.
I'm going to go all-out this time. I'm beginning work on the first WindowBlind in a trilogy of themes. The family of themes is caled Valence Shell, which will be futuristic and sci-fi. Each theme will include skins for WindowBlinds, ObjectDock, IconPackager, and possibly CursorFX. I am starting off with Valence Shell 1: Plasma Canon, which is a steel mixed with a little dark glass, and a lot of plasma green highlights. Valence Shell 2: Ultra Violet and Valence Shell 3:
Good to hear! [e digicons]\o/[/e]
