This just happened to me. Here's what happened: I had to reinstall my OS, and also OD+ (obviously). I had changed a bunch of settings. Then I noticed this problem. One of the settings I had changed was the "Memory / Speed Optimization" under "Performance Options." When you change this setting, it requires a restart of OD to take full effect. I didn't restart. Once I restarted OD, all was well. Roger, you may want to try to restart OD just to see what ha
Kind of looks like the screen resolution is changing when he locks the computer and the docks are getting dumped into the corner?
Quite possibly. Now that you mention it, this sort of funky behavior with docks has happened on occasion when I have disconnected from a monitor, thereby changing my resolution.
It appears that the "Explorer Backgrounds" option will be grayed out on all of the "Aero skins." In order to utilize that option, you'll probably have to use another type of skin. A few of them were pre loaded with WB, but there are a lot of them in the galleries.
Also, do you happen to need drivers for your monitors? If so, are they up to date?
If I set the docks to be visible they are fine. This only happens if I hide them off screen and then lock the screen and unlock it that it does this.
Thanks for clarifying. When I tried to replicate your problem, I did the exact same thing you do. Even tried checking/unchecking some other checkboxes and options. Still no luck. Sorry. Do you have any other unique settings in OD that could complicate things? How 'bout your video card drivers--are they up
Thanks, m1. Should've been able to guess that one. blueman, I've tried to replicate your problem, but it doesn't happen to me.
What do you mean by "locking your screen?"
So sad to hear this. You, your sister and your family will be in my prayers.
Disturbed Computer: In Photoshop, Your rounded rectangle shape is here: As far as the "Modify" option being grayed out, make sure you have a selection loaded. If you don't see the blinking dotted line--aka "marching ants"--around your shape, then the "Modify" option, as well as other options in the select menu, will not be usable. To load a selection from any shape or layer, go to the layer th
As for being the technical genuis that messed up your rig... don't sweat it... could happen to anyone... 'real' technical geniuses included.
[e digicons][/e] Well, the good news is that my system is operational again! The bad news is that I had to reinstall Windows, so now I've gotta reinstall my programs! Won't be that much longer, tho.
Allrighty then, looks like I'll be doing a substyle with black elements! [e digicons][/e] But due to severe technical problems with my laptop, it'll be a while before I can hop back in the saddle! Being the technical genious that I am, I accidentally caused my machine to not be able to boot! [e digicons]X|[/e]
