Or, if you don't set your tabbed dock like Dave said above, you could always just mouse-over the tab you wish to activate and click on the tab.

Congrats, Tim! I am thrilled for you! [e digicons]:w00t:[/e]
Currently, the text for headerbars and buttons can be recolored, but they use the window text color for certain apps like Firefox (buttons) and Thunderbird (headerbar). It would be nice if the text color settings for these things would stay consistent with the skinners settings. BTW- thanks for this thread. It's a great idea!
[e classic]:)[/e] I'm fine tuning the design of the start menu to match more with the new taskbar. Jim, this is why I haven't given you anything yet. I tend to get it "set" then I become dissatisfied and re work everything. [e classic]X-([/e] It doesn't matter how detailed I get in my mock-up, I always still change things a gizallion times!
I's like to see a background design behind the back\forward arrows in Explorer and IE, a lot of skinners seem to be bypassing that element for some reason, not utilizing the power and functions available that SKS provides......
The arrows are how I want them in this skin.
His skins did inspire me when doing this, but I don't want this to end up like a (pale) copy of his work.
Looks good. Though I can see why you say that Essorant's work inspired this theme, I would not consider this a rip in the least. Carry on, bro! [e classic]:congrat:[/e]
The taskbar and buttons underwent a slight redesign in order to keep with a consistent look. I fell in love with the window close buttons after I finished them, so I applied the same styling and lighting effects here.
And so the Redneck Dude National Tour begins...
Looking forward to this
Thanks c242! [e classic]:D[/e]
reminds me of Vienna
After thinking on this a bit, I see more resemblance to iPhonix or Eminence than I do to Rapture, IMHO. [e classic];)[/e]
At a stand still with my customer projects for the moment, so guess what I did tonight? You guessed it, I skinned! Made a lot of progress, too. Right now, I'd say I'm about 90% done with XP / Vista light.
Ain't gonna change Jack anyhow.
Hey! Don't talk about Jack that way! [e digicons]:ninja:[/e] [e digicons][/e]
The point is to get everyone complaining. [e digicons][/e]
GO JAGS!!!!

HOW ABOUT THOSE COLTS
All I know is that the Bears kicked the crap out of the Seahawks Sunday! GO BEARS!
..it's really a shame because I was so looking forward to adding to my workload.
I love the sarcasm! [e digicons]XD[/e]
Happy Birthday, my friend!
I'm in the process of tinting my windows:
Sorry if I'm asking an obvious question, but what's our target release date?
Holiday Community Skin '09
Maybe it should be "Holiday Community Theme '09", since there will be many skins...? [e digicons]:)[/e]
Best wishes! Live it up today!
Don't fergit me when the time comes, yall hear?
I would never forget you, Jim!
So sad it won't be ready this month either
Patience... [e digicons]:)[/e]
should be enough said
Actually, It's not. I'm building a dark theme now, and I've had zero problems. What's up? Can you post a screen shot with your explanation?
I updated the screen shot at the top. Here's a preview of the finished window frame buttons in both the active and inactive states.
Thanks Brian!
Glad you guys like the cursor! It's been my current fave! [e digicons]:D[/e]
I am so looking forward to Tinted...is it done yet?
No, sorry to say it'll be a while. I kinda forced myself to take time off from my side work, so I spent the evening SKINNING! [e digicons]:w00t:[/e] I did accomplish a lot tonight, but I wouldn't expect this for several more weeks yet. [e digicons]:'([/e]
lookin nice, reminds me of Vienna,
Everyone gets their inspiration from somewhere. [e digicons];)[/e] I of course am using it now, and IMO it bears resemblance to Vienna only because it's dark & glassy. Vienna has a lot more gray. I'm using more blacks. Though I drew some inspiration from Rapture, to me it looks totally different. Part of why I decided to do this is because I cannot find a dark glassy theme that I think is absolutely perfect for my tastes
I also think some of this may be due to the WB skinner forming a team of skinners who can collectively create a suite. For instance, vStyler has his team who always come together to make matching skins for his blinds. I pulled in a few people to help with Carbon Fibre GTV, but I don't have a "team" per se. If the WB skinner doesn't have a team, or doesn't pull others in on purpose, then it's really up to others who like a WB and have the time to produce matching skins to contact the a
