If you right-click anywhere on the dock, even on a shortcut, you should see an option for "Advanced settings." Two of the options under advanced settings are "Add A Shortcut" and "Edit Dock Contents." Add a shortcut will explain how to, er, add a shortcut [e digicons]:O[/e] while "Edit dock contents" will explain how to move things around or to edit/create categories. I do not see any options for "Lock Icon Dragging" in the Dell Dock. [e digicons];)[/e] <img src
You should be able to drag anything to the dock. Be sure to drag it in-between other entries. When you do, you'll get something that looks like my screenshot on the left side. When you release your mouse button in order to drop the shortcut onto the dock, it should be there, like my screenshot on the right side.
