Okay Jim, your new avatar looks like it belongs on the back of a big pick-up truck! [e digicons][/e]
It's done! [e digicons]\o/[/e] I'm getting ready to upload it now. Once it's in the galleries, then anyone making matching skins may also upload their skins to the appropriate galleries. i.e.- PuterDudeJim, Webgizmos, the AVMan.
Progress Report: XP Light is done. I'll be testing it today. When testing/tweaking is finished, I will then build XP Dark. Everything is proceeding as i have forseen.
Wow, this theme looks extremly nice! Looks very clean and usable.
Thanks! I've been using it from the beginning, even when it wasn't so usable; but it is now, and very much so IMO. [e digicons]:)[/e]
and find the time
Who ever said I had the time? [e digicons]XD[/e]
Progress Update: I've never done shell animations for xp before. I found it to be pretty easy, I just need to tweak my graphics. My animation is flawless, but I made the graphics too dark! [e digicons]X|[/e] Shell pictures almost done. Once xp light is done, xp dark will take about an hour to generate; Then to test both. There are now 2 wallpapers up in the galleries.
Is it that obvious?

Nah...the similar avatars didn't give it away at all
[e digicons]:-"[/e]
Curtis, love those minimalistic dock icons! [e digicons][/e]
Mirsguy, I sent you the Vista style. I have not created the XP substyle yet, although most of the XP images are in there already. I always skin as much as I can on the main style first. That way, the substyle only needs a few new images and some margin tweaks. That's next. I just want to get it perfect in Vista first.
Oh. Sorry. I misunderstood. Thought you were havin' trouble in xp.
Nope.
[e digicons]:([/e]
Tronnix Desktop
Now that's nice right thar!
Progress Update: Vista Light: Done Vista Dark: Done XP Light: Toolbar icons done. Shell images & animations left. XP Dark: Not started yet, but will be really easy once XP Light is done. My goal is to upload this within the next week. [e digicons]:w00t:[/e]
So far, I start with the Taskbar first. That's the part I see the most...
Hmmm... could this mean that Black Ops is on its way...? [e digicons]:d[/e]
frosty, how are the permissions for the release of certain rightclick skins coming along?
...and a certain set of space docks...?
I always start with a lot of booze.... tis prolly why ive never finished a WB yet...
[e digicons]o_O[/e] [e digicons][/e] Coffee, Caramel Macchiato, or Pepsi; depending on the mood. [e digicons][/e]
I tested this on xp last night. It looks good for the most part. Cyndie, you may want to consider doing an xp substyle. Some people out there can pull off making the same start menu work on both platforms, but I haven't been able to so far. I tinkered with it in SKS; fixed the right side, but really messed up some other things. Didn't save changes, though.
Looks better to me
Cool. What about the height issue? Should I make a new (short) substyle, or just leave it alone?
If that is an approval I willl continue on
Carry on, brother! [e digicons][/e]
How's this?
Upon further investigation, the gradient in the dark start menu is the exact same as the gradient in the right click menus--just that the right click menus are 95% opacity, and the left portion of the start menu is 100% opacity. Could still mess wit it, tho.
Id either content margin the left side icons ^ up some.. or get rid of a % of the top of left panel.. just looks kinda dead on left > top. also.. if I'm being honest Brian.. I'd try match up the gradients on the sides of left panel with the ones in the right click menus, their much softer (better) just suggestions.. dont pay me no mind, I can babble on all night!
Hmmm... Good idea about softening the gradients. As far as the height of t
