I see this quite often when the System Clock is off. Check the date and time on the lower right of the computer screen in the System Tray. Make sure that the date and time are correct. If not, change them to the current date and time. You said this is an older XP machine. The CMOS battery controls the system date and time. If the date and time are off, you will get Certificate errors because the certificates are looking for the proper date and time to syn

I have a strange situation that just started happening after turning on Object Dock Plus 2. When I installed it and ran it it was fine. Then rebooted my computer today and my Fences disappeared. Icons seem to be in the fence because I can move the mouse to the Title bar of the Fence and move it but the fence is not visible. I went to MSCONFIG and turned off the ObjectDock 2 and rebooted. Fences now runs fine. Both Fences and ObjectDock Plus 2 are veri

Hi Dewie, still no luck. Soundpackager creates 2 instances of failure during the installation of the package. Same issue after verifying installation. Ear Candy for your desktop has stopped working. Have tkt with Stardock but hope someone can shed more light on this. May have to reformat my HD again. Other thing that might be noted is that it doesn't even come up with the program picture as in the beginning of the article. It crashes before the prog

Thanks Dewie, I used the impulse program from the Stardock pages but will try the other impulse installation and see if this works. My version of impulse did not have the verify installation option that I was looking for earlier. Will let you know.

I am having the same issue as previous users, but have tried all these suggestions with coping the .ocx file, deleting the file from the Soundpackager folder and even setting WindowBlinds to ignore it. Also removing the themes did not help. This is wierd because all my other computers running Windows 7 /64 work. The only difference I can see is I just reformatted my laptop and tried to install the StarDock apps again with Impulse and it crashed during the installation.

Hello, just installed new version of Windows 7 on 2 computers. Both have either dual or quad processors. I noticed that when dreams are running the processor utilization goes up to about 50 % on the dual and about 69% on the quad. These are clean installs of windows 7 and all drivers updated for motherboard and video card. Anyone else seeing hight CPU usage with dreams.

No this option was turned off. Did find some interesting information in the Windows Event logs. It seems that DRM gets turned off when playing the games. If I enable it after playing the games, it works. Sorry, just checked. This still did not work after restarting the WDM service. Only way to get this to work is to reboot the computer. I will try checking the box in tools for fences.

Hi, I think this is related to Fences but unsure. When I try to play a full size screen game, and then close it, my icons on the desktop and fences become all messed up. Try to refresh the screen and it does very little. When moving the mouse around, this will create more icons on the desktop sometimes filling the screen with just multiple versions of what I already have. This has been tested on several Vista 64-bit SP1 and SP2 machines. I have tried to u

I am having a strange problem with Deskscapes and Screen Savers. I am using Vista 64 bit SP1. When the Screen Saver comes on and runs for about 1 hr, then, when bringing it out of screen saver mode, the Desktop is Black. I have to go to the Dreams program and choose another dream to run and then put it back to my previous dream to get them working again. Anyone else seeing this?

Tried to install the Fences update. Rebooted the computer and now I get a problem with Explorer stopped working and keeps restarting. Checked Event Viewer and the files are Explorer.exe and NTdll.dll I managed to get Fences uninstalled and rebooted. No problems with Fences uninstalled. Running W7-32 bit

Hello, I am trying to test out the Multiplicity program on Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit. I have the program (trial) on my main computer and another computer also using Vista Ultimate 64 bit. When I try to move my mouse to the Secondary Computer, the mouse starts jumping all over the place. Also, I get errors that Multiplicity has stopped responding and/or has encountered a problem and needs to close. The two files involved in Event Viewer are Multipl.exe and MFC42u.dl

I recently reformatted my computer and re-installed Windows XP Pro with Sp3. When I downloaded BootSkins, it no longer has the animation on boot. The picture is fine, but no animation. I have tried several different bootskins and even uninstalled and re-installed bootskin. Anyone have any ideas as to why the animation will not show during boot?
