I have to agree with the original poster. I've been a TB from the release date. I have been considering this for some time, and it seems that on a 3v3 situation Ice TB+reg can be a weakness on the team. It seems that most of the 3v3's have matched reg's. That leaves a TB+ other to match another teams 2 players. TB is not a meelee fighter, and hence has to give ground to the UB's, and the Oak's, and the Erebus, and Sedna's out there. If they are experience

As a host, I would like to have easier access to the following information as I find this useful when determining if a player should be allowed in this game or not. 1. %Disconnect which is the #disconnects/#total games. If I see a high number, I'll ask the player if they plan on sticking around this game...I know I can look this up, but don't want to keep a lobby waiting while I do so. 2. A means of evaluating the sim speed for the player on this map. S

One more thing, is that I need to be able to qualify the sim speeds of players before starting a game. I have been in a number of games, where the sim speed of players was 1 at the beginning of the game. Needless to say, as the game progessed, it became a slideshow. Too many players are making all players suffer because they chose a map or graphics setting for which their system isn't suitable. I would be thrilled to see %disconnect, and avg sim speed on th

I've been watching these kinds of threads for a while now... As a regular host, I would like to know the % disconnect which is calculated as #disconnects/#total games. That evens the scale for someone with 200+ games and someone with only 50 games. If % is too high, I'll call them on it, and ask if they plan on sticking around. I'd like to randomize teams, but dont know how to do it, and still preserve the DG of choice. I play TB mostly, and my team wou

I'll be, but changing the name in the forums worked.... At the top of this screen, select My Accout, and then click on the login tab, and change your username. You can immediately change it back, and now my lobby shows players... Hope I didn't just reset my stats!

Same here.... Nothing displaying in the lobby, and when I try to host I get a "unable to connecto to Nat facilitator". There is a message below that which reads "HostGame in CVP Failed". Spose I'll try the rename thing and see if that helps.

Hi, I have been playing DG since it was first released. The game has always been running fairly well, (with the exception of nat issues that were introduced, and then resolved with updates). With the most recent update, I have encountered a new issue which is really frustrating. I'll be playing along in a good game, doing well, and will hear the "A player has left the game", the screen will display the names of ALL OTHER players as h

Can I suggest that the host name be displayed somewhere in the lobby. Most recently, there have been times when I needed to disconnect and reconnect, and I don't recall the name of the game "us west coast", or "west 3v3". I know I could chat this before reconnecting, but this is just a "nice to have". Thanks, M

With todays patch (05/12), the ability to play custom games has been restored. I am no longer seeing the "Cannot connect to NAT facilitator". I can not speak for skirmish yet. The current skirmish behavior is that the system looks for a game to join for approx 1 minute, and then I'm immediately placed in a game with all AI. Could be a new issue, or could be that there is no one on skirmish. Will report should I suceed. Thank you, M

Count me in on this issue....working fairly well for both skirmish and custom...then patch and BOOM..."Cannot connect to NAT faclitator". Occurs for both skirmish, and custom games. Since I see others have this issue, I'll refrain and wait. Hoping for a fix soon....Great Game, miss it already. I saw frogboys posts, but didn't recognize the correlation between "cannot connect to NAT facilator". M

Hi, I'm still learning the various abilities of each Demigod, and play a lot of single player skirmishes. I love the game and the action is very intense, but I've gotten very frustrated, because I don't know how to pause a game. I.E. Phone rings during play. I have a saitek eclipse keyboard, and I've tried the pause button, Esc, and the usual suspects, but haven't yet found a way to pause the game. Thx </p

Thanks Shirley... I allowed impulse to update my demigod game (which put the intro video file back), and ran the game from impulse... The movie started, and I was able to interrupt it, and got to the menu in under 10 seconds. So far so good. FYI: The demigod.exe file is version 1.0.0.91, and the ImpulseReactor.dll is version 1.0.0.33 Thanks again, and "hang in there stardock"... I can imagine the situation, and thank you.

To Summarize... 1. Rename the movie file (dg_intro.bik) found in C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Demigod\movies 2. Start Demigod, DO NOT use the mouse or keyboard...watch the short AD movies, and get to a black screen. 3. Wait patiently (1 minute maybe a bit more) and the menu will display. I mentally counted, and it was about 70 seconds. M

I was experiencing the lock-up's everytime I clicked the mouse or pressed a key during the intro movie. After reading the boards, my solution was to (Note that I am using an XP system so you vista folk will have to adjust paths): 1. Rename the movie file (dg_intro.bik) found in C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Demigod\movies 2. Start Demigod, DO NOT use the mouse or keyboard...watch the short AD movies, and get to a black screen. 3. W
