My D-2 will be a bit closer to the FASA version, almost wouldn't have been done if I hadn't seen yours. Love the Stegosaurus and Brontosaurus and since I have next to nothing on Gorn troop ships I'll keep yours in the set. Oh and my Throne-Seeker is coming.
no not necasraly i saw some where i don't remember but in the 5th or 6th sesion of enterprise they were going to do a two part episaod of first contact with the kzin. but it did not last. maybe the movie in 2009 will be better then the TV show. oh as a point the Romulan-earth war was befor the enterprise era i think in 2100 in star trek time.
Have to disagree on that one. The first time the Enterprise encounters the Romulan ship in the mine field they have zero knowledge
also i think if the enterprise setirs lasted longer we whould have figuered out how the federation-kizn wars started.
Probably not since the Kzinti were never adopted in to true Star Trek canon. There are feline races in Star Trek and the Kzinti do appear in the animated series but we never seen them in any of the series or movies. Star Trek history does not even make reference to a war with the Kzinti. Now if the Star Trek series continued we may have seen the beginni

Something always bugged me about the Kzinti in bringing them from the ManKzin books to the Star Fleet Universe game system. Well this morning my concerns were finally dispelled. Frankly here was my issue. Human and Kzinti are always at war.(Humans win every war). Kzinti tend to eat their captives. But in SFU the Kzinti are allies with the Federation. I always thought that these Kzinti were a little less aggressive then their ManKzin cousins. I knew the history of t

Ok this is addressed to anyone but Atlas: Has anyone while playing with the 3rd Edition of Federation ships not have my Mayflower; Prospector; and Republic classes appear as your starting ships. They won't say they are those classes: Republic-class will call itself Surveyship class or something like that. But the ship models will be identical. And they work correctly despite not seeing a survey module on the Flagship it will still survey anomalies (game adds those automatica
Speaking of the Tholian web, does anyone remembeer General Pants' component mods? I wonder if they still work with TA, cause I remember him have a part that was an energy beam that connected some parts together? I wonder if we could get that to be invisible I would really like it so you could build a bunch of fighters in formation linked by an invisible jewel, yeah they would always stay in formation but it would still give the feel of a bigger battle. Because you know carrier based war i

Not sure which one but one of the Devs described Klingons as evil Arceans. Anyway instead of slave pits there will be concentration camps and such in the custom tech tree. Kzinti could be nicer Drengin. Lyran would be nastier maybe Korath. ISC is Krynn. Tholians should be custom but make them xenophobic with super isolationist. Not sure on the rest. But I'm always open to suggestion. That's why I started this OP.

Well you start the game with the Federation ship package the Republic class ship will appear as your flagship/survey ship. The hulls themselves in the ship yards are deliberately left blank so you may choose what your "survey" ship is; "scout" ship; "destroyer"; "cruiser". You get the idea. Klingons are being fixed next. Then Gorn. Then Romulans. After that I get back to work on the Kzinti I postponed on. Going back to the Tholians after that since I got another idea how to pull i
Hello AF Ronin: First of, I would like to say that you have done a fantastic job on the ships. You have a hard core Trekor here. Was a boy watching the very first show of the orginal series. As a avid gamer, I began with the very basic Zocchi game and models. Moved to Star Fleet Battles and the miniature gaming, untill the rule book got to be about 10 pounds. Still love to set up and play Federation and Empire. Even had FASA's Combat Simulator and miniatures. Untill they ran into copyrigh
SPeaking of ships, the ones in Stardocks library, are they compatible with ToA or just DL and DA? Are there any other sites to find custom ships besides here?
Mine are only compatible with ToA. Well they work with DA but it doesn't look right.

Unknown126351454, said that his game crashed when he started the game with the Federation Ship Style. Has anyone else who downloaded and followed the instructions for the 3rd Edition of Federation Ships have a similar problem?

Almost right. It was Defiant not Reliant that had the cloak. But it wasn't the first Federation Ship to have a cloaking device. There was the Oberth-class, USS Pegasus that had the experimental and illegal interphase cloaking device. That was STNG episode: The Pegasus Gosh I am such a nerd. :)

to do the double stack engines I use two of those triangular shaped extension girders. I attach one one to the top of one of the engine pieces, flip the girder. Add the second girder and then the second engine attached to the girder. Takes a little rotation and shrinking of the extension pieces but it makes the right look. Anyway yes, I'd love to see your ships. And though I may tweak a few I'd add them to the new editions. Send me your gorn and klingon ships: Zip the files and se

Ok, the correct file for the Federation Ships are awaiting approval. It will be titled: SF Federation Vessels 3rd Edition. This one is good for download. Ok now to fix the Klingons. I'll be adding 2 tiny hulls, 1 medium hull, 1 huge hull, and 5 cargo hulls. So there will be 18 klingon ships total.
