Wow, I expected some negativity, but not this much.
BURN HIM AT THE STAKE HA HA HA HA! Just kidding. Glad to see such a dedicated fan but for me as in all things its quality not quantity.
Hmm, an entire community ignoring the increasingly growing threat of a Jihadist movement resulting in no action leading to their destruction. Why does this sound familiar?
Lame, lame, lame. I love Star Wars and was so excited about the MMORPG when it came out. And the story to it made sense. Set between Episodes 4 and 5. So you know what that means? NO FRICKEN JEDI!!!! So they made it difficult to achieve such a status and I thought it was a good idea since there were a few surviving Jedi in hiding. But then the bitching and whining commenced so you made it easier. It was about this time that I decided to attempt to reach th
Working on those evil Romulans again. Here is a Condor class Dreadnought. 8 new classes will be added to the 2nd edition including this one:
I just completed Gorn 2nd Edition and uploaded it to the library. So they should pop on the same time the Klingon 2nd Edition does. This screenshot shows that the player useable shipstyle works: Now its ti
It needs a slide or fireman pole running from the top to the bottom.
I haven't forgotten that. I am filled with guilt. For being so slow on the fed&emp ships (I blame my girlfriend) and not getting ships done like yours Zy. Good news is that I'm getting a new laptop so I'm hoping that I can knock out some of them at work or when I'm with my girlfriend.
I get it. You want to go to war with the humans but make them look like the aggressor. Yeah I've been trying to figure out how to do this in some of my games too.
well, give me your e-mail address and I'll mail them to you.
Any word on when your Klingon pack will be accepted?
That's all up to Kryo: [link="https://forums.galciv2.com/122091"]Pending Mods[/link]
Sorry dude, yeah I'm reading this one. Please continue.
oops
You can do it through cheat codes: [link="https://www.galciv.wikia.com/wiki/Hot_Seat_Game"]Hot Seat[/link]
How are you deleting them? From the game or from My Documents. Deleting them from the game does not remove that design's shipcfg file. You have to go to My Documents for that. That is why the game pops up that warning about giving designs the same name. I have found this to bring old ships back from the dead.
Ok I just e-mailed you my files. I did however delete the new Gorn ships and the Kzinti ships. I figure the Klingon ships ahead of schedule was good enough. You got to wait like everyone else. Ok after I made the zip I deleted my old files after backing them up of course and then installed the files from the zip file on to my computer again to test it. It works so just overwrite your files with mine and there is no reason why it should not work this time.
Sure make sure you are in the right folders. Couple days ago I was looking for the templates needed to start the game with the right vessels in my ShipCfg folder. They were missing and I couldn't figure it out since they were still working correctly. Finally I realized I was looking for them in: C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\Data\ShipCfg when I needed to be in:C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\Twilight\Data\ShipCfg
First Class please. I have standards to uphold. :)
Is anyone else having this problem? -------------------- Wouldn't know how to connect to your computer. What I could do is create a zip file of my: C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor\ I could e-mail this to you and then you could then unzip it and put the file directly over yours to overwrite it COMPLETELY. You'd lose any personal ships you made unless you have saved a back up somewhere but as an added bonus you'd have a
All you need is in the ship package. You must have placed something in the wrong spot: Put the files of folders: Ships; ShipStyles; and Shiptemplates in the folders of the same names found in: C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor\ Put the files of the ShipCfg folder in the folder of the same name found: C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\Twilight\Data\
Okay so I'm at work right now and downloaded the ship pack to the work computer to take a look at it so if I get in trouble I blame everything on your rockmongrels. Just kidding. Out of the 6 folders in the pack only 4 are needed to make the shipstyle work right. Put the files of folders: Ships; ShipStyles; and Shiptemplates in the folders of the same names found in: C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor\ Put the files of the ShipCfg fol
Ok to prevent further confusion I think I need to add a readme file to the pack other then just the mod info in the library. The ShipCfg files does not go to: C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor Those files go to: C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\Twilight\Data\ShipCfg The rest of the pack is in C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor. You can delete the pics folder in the pack. That's jus
Did you install ALL the new files? The new shipstyle file in the pack uses a ship prefix of "FED". All the ships from 3rd Edition have the "FED" prefix so they are only accessible by selecting the shipstyle during race set up. Go through the 3rd Edition pack that you can download and make sure every file is in the right spot. YOu no longer need the files from the previous editions. Its a easy thing to mess up accidently. Also never fear about having to redownload another ed
