Topic. There's a plethora of assholes today, and they make psychoak look like rainbows and puppies. This thread would ideally differ from the irony of humanity thread in that it would be optimistic. Let's see if we can manage that. Oh, damn, just broke it. But it's OT anyway, so it probably can't be considered spam.
I thought of time travel in RTS years ago.
Hey, you didn't code it. ;) And yeah, holy time travel, Batman.
You're observing the tie rule in action. Since "destroyed" ships "fire back" in DA/TA, to simulate "simultaneous" combat within GC2's engine, a tie rule was created (sadly, no MAD-mutually assured destruction). The bottom line is that so long as you are bringing ships/fleets to the party that 1) have less attack than he does per ship (which in the case of the DL ships is practically always true) or 2) aren
That's not entirely true-morale is the function by which the happiness mechanic, otherwise known as approval, is generated. One way to think of it is that approval is civ-wide happiness, which is affected by civ-wide morale bonuses as well as planetary morale improvements to generate planetary happiness, at which point it is averaged by population. However, yes, the "approval" bonus tiles double the bonus

I was confused as to the relevance largely because I was confused as to who had done the posting, as well as it being 5:30am and my not having slept for somewhere in the vicinity of 36 hours, which the first and second reasons were caused by. I like being able to actually hold these things in my hand, read the box, etc. Old school perhaps, but there's just something about having it physically in hand when deciding on a purchase.
If it's the same price, more power to you.
Yes, it's integrated, but the site shows it to have 128MB dedicated memory rather than shared.
I've never known an integrated yet to have VRAM of its own; that's kind of the point of it being integrated . (Sidenote: Some laptop graphics are very funky exceptions to this rule, as they try to use the turbocache option. It's weird.) I especially doubt that the 7100 does so. It's probably just your run of the mill non-geek typo. <a hr
Right now, it's an X1950Pro.
Love those guys. Running an X1950GT myself. But it can't Fold anymore (for a long time, actually), so I "need" (read: want) something newer. For my purposes, the GTX260 c216 would be far superior to the GTS250 (aka 9800GTX/9800GTX+), but for yours, it might not be worth the extra cash, particularly as you're looking at (I believe, based on your link in another thread) a $130 GTS250 (gotta love EVGA).
Check the lengths that the timelines display for-it may be resetting it back to 0 weeks; just set it to show all (or whatever the equivalent is) and it should work. Interesting that this would occur in the bottom miniscreen as well...I'll have a look (after I wake up). Don't have a theory on that yet.
The NVIDIA GeForce 7100 video card that's installed on your computer is pretty decent, so you don't really need an upgrade there.
Actually, it's not anything resembling decent. 7100 is integrated, is it not? I think there was one variant of the 7100 in a dedicated variety, but it got rare fast. Then again, today's integrated (7100 included in that) is far superior to the integrated we had 10 years ago. Of course, that's dependent on needs...<
GTS250
dys will probably weigh in on this as well, but the GTX260 (216 cores) may be a better idea, assuming it's within the budget. ;) Though I guess one should also consider what you're running on now...
