Stargates: -Lore states there were one or three (I forget how many exactly, maybe 1 or 3 pairs?) and apparently one or three of those got loldestroyed. I'd guess there's maybe one or two left but that's not going to do anyone much good. -Restricting ships going through a stargate for arbitrary reasons is stupid. -No stargates please; give me wormholes that don't disappear instead, as it serves the same function, but is more consistent with the lore. There's also
AFAIK, Immense maps in TA produce less than 600 planets though.
Yes, same as Gigantic, which was downsized for TA. Gigantic/Immense in TA is 500-600 on scattered/loose whereas it's 700-800 in DA on scattered/loose. You're also correct about Immense being TA-specific. Your mileage may vary slightly, though, as I've wound up with a 499 (so close!) on TA Gigantic loose.
I started my little 2-Year Korath game after I had already started the latest Kork game. I did not set the Korath to SD, but I did use the bonus points for Influence and Diplomacy. Will this effect the Korath in my Korx game, or does the savegame retain all of the initial race setup data?
Savegames retain all relevant data; changing something in a new game with a game already in progress will not change anything within the game in progress. An evasion bonus would be nice, but it'd probably be a good idea to do away with the randomness of the current attack/defense system in whole or part if we added evasion. Otherwise you just wind up with ships missing each other and then scoring a 0 when they do hit all game long.
Charvel are you really that retarded that you need a program to keep games updated and organized?
Except for the inability to have an update queue, which has been put in at least informally as a feature request, it's more efficient. Why should I waste time running the individual updaters for every game that I own, and coming back to run them one by one so they don't all rape my bandwidth and get nothing done, when a program can do that for me? You would be able to see stars from a long way off, then planets, then star-bases, then asteroids, then the various sizes of hull with larger ones being more visible. Would help to balance the large-hull-kills all thing as you could see it and it wouldn't be able to see you, and it is just more realistic: you can see Alpha Centauri with your naked eye

Let's see: As it was a generic list of rules that you called out a number of other people for violating, I felt it would be helpful to establish what did and did not constitute breaking them, by virtue of my previous actions having not done so. It's not unreadable, it's just long. Does more whitespace make it easier for you? I don't feel inclined to redo the entire post because a feature that you think is important wants to be uncooperative with editing a post, reg
