Why, how many times have you registered?

I would have to verify with Scott, but I believe that in order to get the submit option you have to be connected to the Internet when GalCiv is loaded. It sets a flag at that time indicating you are connected.
3-13-2001 was the date of the first account being created. But the site was still under initial development at that time. 3-24-2001 appears to be the date of the official launch. On this day 160 accounts were created. 11-21-2002 Today, the average number of accounts created per day is 1800. And there is over 420000 accounts at this time.
John, have you sent me a debug.err file yet? If not please do so. Run "c:\program files\drengin.net\loader.ex" /d The /d parameter turns on additional debugging. Send me the debug.err file located in the drengin.net directory. [email protected]
Hrothgar, let me know if you are still having issues. There is a new update available.
Exodius, Sorry for the delays. I've had my nose glued to the monitor for a few days now and unfortunately I do not work weekends. I also had Friday off so I have been playing a bit of catch up as well. Anyway, I have been looking a few issues. One of them being a problem where people's expiration date has been showing up as 1/1/1900. When this occurs it means that the users account was not able to be validated in our database. I have just discovered a bug in the serial number algor
"How about having the FAQ as a new Library entry. " We have slowly been working on an a knowledge base system (ie: https://www.stardock.com/support/support.asp). This system will eventually be used for all our products/websites. This it what I plan to incorporate into WinCustomize. Right now its pretty generic but in the future we hope to add search capabilites to it and so on. But that is the general direction that I intend to take for the WinCustomize FAQ.
"T-Man, I'm still waiting for you and/or Brad to reply to my emails...... " - Koasati Never received them. Just sent you an email with my private address.
Anyone getting this error when trying to install GalCiv. I have received a few reports of this and am trying to collect some more data to solve this problem. If you are experiencing the problem here is what I am looking for: 1)How much drive space is available on your drive where you are installing to? How much space is available on the drive that your system TEMP directory is located. 2) I need more information about the file that you are having problems downloading. Lo
Modules! Good idea Bakerstreet! I love the idea of modules that all fall under WindowBlinds. The Window Module, the Toolbar Module, The StartBar Module, the buttons module. Lets see, I use the MetalX Windows Skin, and Apply the CopperDeck StartBar, while using the BlackComb Toolbar. You get the idea!
Its a mix of all skins, themes, wallpapers, icons, etc that where uploaded to WinCustomize from Jan through March of 2002. A full CD's worth.
Just curious. For those who are having trouble seeing the discount, do you ever close your browser windows or do you just leave them open? Also, do you see the discount now if you visit the WinCustomize Store?
Oh, Motion, also, after you do a test post. Click on this link: https://www.wincustomize.com/readcookie.asp This will email me the content of your wincustomize cookies.
Fuzzy Logic gets confused when he is not so fuzzy.

Motion: I have added some debug info for when you post something. Give it a try and let me know what information shows up for you. Carlitus: Can you point me towards an example?
No, that link is for the Orion Icon Suite and not for the WinCustomize CD. Mark, if your WinCustomize account is the same that you make your purchases with or if it is properly cross referenced, (and your account is in proper order) and you go into the WinCustomize Store it should automatically determine if you are eligible for the discount. If its not, just logoff WinCustomize and Relogon and it should correct it.
WinCustomize.com releases the 1st in a series of CD's that contain complilations of the skins, icons, themes and wallpapers that are found in the WinCustomize Libraries. This compilation covers items that were uploaded to WinCustomize from January 1, 2002 through March 31, 2002. It contai

joetheblow, feel free to post your suggestions. We are not necessarily looking for new ideas but if something comes along that we like we will give it consideration.
Lordvdr: Yes make sure you update the site data and library files from the View menu. That should do the trick.
I hate typos!
Remembers its very important to preheat the oven to 350 degrees!
Chef Garry - Yes you can clear out the downloaded files. If you have applied the files they then are already installed and still available via the individual programs. To delete wincustomize cookies try this link: https://www.wincustomize.com/killcookies.asp Peff - re: twin entries. Yea, thats a known problem. Maybe one of these days I will try to tackle that problem. Low priority right now. Motion & Fuzzy - I just made a change in the script, it might fix the problem. Bu
Koasati, yes its a good idea. I have been waiting for this FAQ. I know Jobeleca was either making one on his own or trying to help you out. Not sure which. Anyway, I've been waiting for one of you guys to post your FAQ. What I would like to do is create a FAQ page on WinCustomize and create a link on the main msgboard page that will always be on top of the list that points to the FAQ page. I also like the idea of having the welcome page after registering also point to the pa
