Its amazing at how treetog can create something so original and different from the normal but still make it feel like nothing has changed in the usability area. Great job!

I just fixed the problem with retrieving the list for the Updated Skins. The Featured skin was working here but I just did an update on the server that makes retrieving the Featured Skin list much faster.

The website (www.guiolympics.com) still exists. People can go there and download the skins still. The library is part of WinCustomize, its just hidden because the files were also merged into the WindowBlinds library.

Not all the time. The admins try to send everyone an email but remember they are volunteers and their time is valuable. So they may not always have the time to send you an email. Especially when there are peaks in the number of submissions.

Yes, this has been a long standing issue and has been on my list of things to do. Unfortunately time is a key issue. Or more specifically my time. I am working on multiple projects so trying to do updates to WinCustomize is sporadic. Making these changes is not a 15 minute fix because of the way things were implemented in the beginning. There are many issues involving the speed of the site and we will address them as soon as possible. Unfortunately changing the author pages is not

I have been noticing of late that there has been quite a bit of name calling going on these days. It seems that anytime someone comes along and has a negative comment towards WinCustomize or someone else or who may have ripped a skin, a bandwagon of people tend to jump all over that person and tend to start calling them whiners, trolls, morons, etc, etc etc. I personally find this behavior very rude and offensive and am getting very sick of it. "I only got a level 2 account instead of the level 3 i was expecting." The cause of this is that the email address that you attempted to cross reference against does not have a product registration associated with it. In other words, you tried the wrong email address. Try another one. (If people would only use one email address life would be so much easier)

If a user is receiving a 404 error then it is a legitimate error/bug or the server is actually way too busy to process the page. There also is code in place that if the the number of current visitors surpasses a specific number during peak times that non-paying visitors may receive periodic server busy errors in an effort to reduce the load on the website.

Ok, I finally got off my lazy butt an added functionality for users to change their nickname. Just go to 'Edit Account' and click on the 'Change Your Email Address' link. You must choose a unique nickname.

Jack, SmartException has been removed from the DGM Installer. I think in 0.66B it was removed. But many of you may still have SmartException on your system. There has been updates to SmartException and the most recent version is it at http://storage.stardock.com/files/smartexception090.exe For those of you who want to remove SmartException I suggest that you install it from the link above and then uninstall it.
